Actually, we are both wrong. The top tax bracket for individuals (not married or filing separately) is 37%. Income over $500k is taxed at that rate.

YOUR statement is false. Again - as pointed out in the article, we have a marginal tax system - That .001% pays 39.5% on income from $495k to the $10m. Now, we’re asking them to pay another 70% on $10m and up.

Sorry to be rude, but how do you not know this? YOUR income is taxed this way and has been for your entire life.  Even if your yearly refund zeros out your tax liability, your income is still taxed on a progressive system.

Considering the top 10% earners pay over 70% of all income taxes, I would say they are already paying their fair share. How much more would you expect them to pay before things become ‘fair’?

Oh, if ONLY Americans understood money better, we could get support for all of AOC’s policies!!!!  Sorry - Americans understand taxes just fine.  We reject her absurd proposals because they make no fiscal sense.  Her tax proposal would bring in $72 billion against $40 trillion in costs.  

Everyone who actually pays income taxes already knows we have a progressive tax system. AOC feels the need to explain it since the majority of her constituents fall into the 50% category that pay zero taxes.

As a Vikings fan, Mike McCarthy is the best thing to ever happen the NFC North.  McCarthy being fired would be my worst nightmare.
