You officially jumped the shark when comparing the killing of 5 occupied people by their British oppressors 250 years ago to slavery and the Holocaust.

That's a huge stretch there, honestly. It happened in 1770. I know there's no clear statute-of-limitations on when it's appropriate to make light of a terrible situation, but I'm pretty sure something that's almost 250 years old would pass it.
