If this was a ‘clownshoe’ then it would have double the miles and double the price and we’d all be saying ND.

But there are cheap Citroens, please tell me there are
Imagine going from 60 Minutes correspondent to this, too crazy for the crazies at NewsMax.
Why did I read this in grown-up Ralphie’s narration voice?
I worked in the late 80s restoring jags and can agree, but the smell of Wilton carpet that has been water soaked for years is worse than most things, a close second to three day old gopher in the sun
There is nothing, nothing, like the smell of an old British car interior. My wife calls it musty, I call it heaven. Old leather and wool and whatever they stuffed the seats with, a little oil and grease from the mechanicals, and I swear you can also smell the hint of early fall leaves, but maybe that is just memories…
If it’s the easy why didn’t Tesla customer service explain that to him? Seems like an easy fix that any customer service could have explained in about 5 minutes.
Once inside the car, he should have just grabbed a bundle of wires from under the dash, cut a random couple, and spark them together. Starts right up. I’ve seen it work hundreds of time.
Thanks - that would have been useful to include in the article I guess.
My perception is there’s a shift happening - oddballs are getting more valuable. The price of a restored Mustang (for example) isn’t exactly dropping (or even staying steady) but it’s not growing the way oddballs are growing - especially if that oddball is in as good of condition as this is.
Well sorted out examples, and ones that are 85% restored or better, are going for about this price. They were creeping up before Covid. They have Even project cars are going for 8-9K
For people who haven’t seen one of these in a few years, they’re incredibly small and narrow. And they’re stunning in person.
And at least they aren’t black.
I heard you like vents, so we put vents in your vents in your vents. It’s like a Kartrashian, all filler and implants and loaded-for-bear screeching look at meeeee
I’ve been following the two of them since the 70s, we grew up about an hour from where they lived. It’s a shame, with two such fascinating stories, they’ve extracted this single event from their lives-about a “fck hut”. It was about 20 secs in the doc. Far more interesting-the effect of their affair on HIS marriage,…
Fox body Mustangs...today you look at one and wonder why someone put a Mustang badge on an economy car.
Well, drunk driving laws are stupid, but not in the way he’d have us believe. There are states where people have more than a dozen DWIs and somehow manage to avoid life in prison. Meanwhile people sit on death row for more than 3 decades for crimes they didn’t commit.
I mean they were also married for fifty years. It seems silly to class the marriage as all bad or all good when it probably had a lot of ups and downs.
A happy sex life between a married couples seems like a healthy expression of love to me. Bang away Paul.
I love the coupe versions. The greenhouse was chopped after ‘58 and they look really cool.
