The twin cam motor really was a pretty decent attempt at a Civic SI competitor too. It definitely wasn’t 100% of the way there, but compared to everything else the US automakers were shitting out in that segment back in the early 90s, it was pretty decent.

I love early Saturns, too, but they also came out in an era when people couldn’t get enough small, efficient cars and we know how long that ended up being a thing. They were the right car at the right time, but the US car market just changes so quickly. I don’t entirely blame GM for Saturn’s demise.

Man, I WISH I lived in a world where “stupid” and “selfish” could be trained out of people! Glad you live there, but that has never, ever, ever, ever matched my experience.

I thought Rogue One a good movie and the ending was the best part.

1. The Charger Guy bit is getting a bit wearisome when it veers into overtly sexist drivel. Maybe don’t include their responses to EVERY question.

it’s no surprise that someone who has as dogshit an opinion as “Rogue One was a bad movie” is stuck in a career where they have to crowd source listicles.

gotta be some Citroen hatchback; they were the king of special editions. The Bic Special Edition comes to mind...

I did say I also think the price is a little high (I’m also a Honda fan and I’d pay $5,500 at most) but it’s also dependent on where you are, I suppose. I’m sure these are more common on the West Coast but I live in NW Ohio and these are literally extinct here, so I’d be willing to pay a little more for one that

A friend was so excited to get her Del Sol and let me drive it soon after she picked it up. I could not believe how slow a car that small could be. I mean nothing. It was pleasant on a sunny day with the top off, but c’mon.

Honda has its fans too, mostly because it makes used to make fuel-sipping economy cars that typically are also a lot of fun.

I feel like no homologation special really counts, because it was done for a good reason even if the road car was a turd.

Hell yeah I’ll take me a Don Knotts-endorsed Dude pickup truck.

Counterpoint: that green is AWESOME, no matter how it came to be.

Every single car that did a Denim edition.

The ‘70s were a weird time and cocaine is a hell of a drug, but Don Knotts endorsing a pick-up truck is just plain bizarre.

One of the kids in my highschool had Levi’s Grelim.

Dodge Ram Daytona.

You think if he started attacking his wife with a butcher knife, the two policemen present wouldn’t have had a much better chance of stopping him before he killed her? Knives can kill people, sure, but they don’t do it as quickly and easily, and they leave a lot more time and opportunity for other people to be heroes.

The presence of a gun in itself make the action more likely to happen. The presence of a gun multiply the chance of a woman being murdered by her spouse by 5. Part of it is mindset sure, a person more likely to kill their spouse is also more likely to have a gun, but part of it is that it doesn’t take the same mindset

Texas reply: “The only way this could have been prevented is if the woman and baby had their own guns as well.”
