I thought the latest generation Miata looked good in pictures, but when I saw it in the flesh it looked too tall and stubby. The hardtop version fixes those issues and looks much better to me. The Fiata looks better too, but no longer available new.

Do the mods void the warranty? Would make a huge difference to me if I were seriously looking at it. Google says BMW factory is four years and 50,000.
My first thought was, wow that has depreciated a lot in 7,000 miles. Second thought is there is a lot more room for it to fall. But if you want one and don't care if it is brand new these seems like a decent deal. The mods seem fairly tasteful and don't detract from the car (I had no idea it was modified from the…
There seem to be an inordinate number of people who seem to have the smarts or ability or whatever it takes to make a lot of money, but no corresponding skills on what to do with it.
Having lived most of my life with manual windows, and remembering the crappy, slow unreliable power windows on many cars in the 70s, holding a button or four for a few seconds isn’t that big a hardship. Whiners
Yeah, the concept is ok, but every car that I have had with it, there is no discernible step between controlled up down and auto up down. Our relatively new Subaru is the worst, but my old Lexus is bad too, as has been every other car that has it. I would rather there was no auto up down because it is so poorly…
Would you be better off spending five grand more and getting a spider that is a little less rough around the edges (or just not rusty)? Sure. But not everybody has the extra five grand to spend all at once. A running driving Alfa at $3k is nice price if you are an impecunious kid who wants something interesting or an…
I know you didn’t ask me, but boo er here too. I wasn’t a fan of early 70s full size American land yachts when growing up either, and I am still more of a fan of small, stylish and sporty stuff. But they have a certain appeal now. Not so much nostalgia (my closest encounter was a huge two door Buick my then girlfriend…
I like it, if you break it down into price per passenger vs 2 seat and 4 seat options the deal seems better. Hop in my Chrysler (product) its as big as a whale and about to set sail. Nice Price
I look on Google maps and see an open gas station I can access, I guess I am an idiot for not assuming (around here everything is within a dime of each other) gas costs the same there as everywhere else. If I have been there before I am an idiot, I bet the guy doesn’t do much business from repeat customers.
This seems like a good deal to me, anybody that buys a German car this old had better have a good mechanic or so the work themselves. The preventative stuff on the cooling system (if not done) is not that expensive to do yourself.
I am a car guy and I know people but nobody asks me to sell their car for them, they do ask me to go look at cars with them sometimes. I believe you it happens, but just seems weird how often, and kind of frustrating contacting people and them saying they know nothing about the vehicle, call so and so.
I don't think anybody is collecting these, especially ones with over 150,000 miles. I see a $6500 used SUV that stands out as being one of the nicer vehicles in a low rent part of town third hand models used car dealership. No dice.
This is a cool car in nice shape. When I first saw the picture I thought easy nice price. A closer look at the car and description makes the choice a little harder.
Although I still might look at the car, there seems to be a tendency to take small little bits of the car and have no overall shots of the vehicle, I don’t know if the are trying to be artsy or hide something. Also when they shoot in the worst possible light, like under a gas station light at night.
Didn't know they made a Topaz/Tempo with all wheel drive, most of these cars have so little power that the all wheel drive isn't worth the weight penalty unless you live in places that have snow on the roads a good part of the year.
I consider myself a bit of a car person, but I don't know if I could tell an E21 from an E30 from side by side pictures. But I do know with an E30 I could get a bigger more powerful six and a five speed, neither of which this car has. So with the same aesthetic vibe, less performance and higher price why would you…
Looks like a very nice car, for this kind of money you can get a 2002tii, or, if that isn’t your thing, you can get a nice E30 with a bigger six and more power and pretty much the same vibe all around otherwise, plus change in your pocket from either purchase.
In addition to all the other issues, gotta have crazy rear end bias for weight distribution
Wow, congrats Bradley, a cool car with very reasonable miles for a little over $10k. Didn't think that could be done anymore. Look forward to periodic updates. P.S. haters gonna hate
