I am no expert, but I think dealers check your driver’s license to make sure you are legally authorized to drive, not check your driving record. I am sure the usual shotgun approach to litigation, unless laws are different where this occured, that part shouldn’t stick.

I don’t necessarily disagree with the license restrictions, but at 100 a ton, well most new cars exceed that by a comfortable margin, a new Corolla, at 3100 pounds and 169 horsepower exceeds the 100 per ton figure.

This is the small but still out there sweet spot of used car purchases.  Old enough to scare off a lot of non-car people, well cared for, reasonable miles on a reliable drivetrain.  It will feel nicer and probably last longer than the 10 year old Kia you buy for the same or more money.

I don’t get it, I have talked to them personally and seen them on forums, all the folks who want “a car that drives for them”. Not really what we have is it, with tragic results as shown here.

The C4, especially the early ones, may not hold up so well against later 'vettes, but it was so much better than the last 10 years or so of the C3 that came before it, and generally well received when it came out.

Using Cruise Control is fine, but if you end up with your cruise set at 69.5 MPH going next to somebody else with their cruise set at 69.5 MPH for miles and miles have the presence of mind to notice it and speed up or slow down a bit (it only takes a bump to the control, I think many people don't understand that

In traffic on multi lane roads plan ahead for your turn.  fI you find yourself in the wrong lane to turn, just keep going and turn at the next intersection or onramp. Don’t turn from the wrong lane, don’t dangerously cut across lanes to get there, and for God’s sake don’t stop in the middle of the non-turning lane

Another close one, I nice priced it, while there may be better choices for a decent looking, running sub $3k car these days, there sure aren’t many choices, so if you are shopping cheap with a sense of adventure this one may be for you.

As much as I think the application kinda sucks here, F1 has been consistent about disqualifying out of compliance cars.  Hell of a race and gutsy choice by Russell.  I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see it more often and the Pirellis generally seem to be holding up much longer than expected for the people that stay

Can't believe it was the eighties and the only manual option is a three speed, was it a column shift too? (kidding, but can't believe they didn't have a 4 speed available).

You could still get an Alfa Spider in the early 90s, thing had a longer run than the MGB (though Alfa did a lot more updates to the design than MG ever did with the B).

I am looking for the catch, but not finding it in the ad (doesn’t look scammish either) A running driving car in decent cosmetic shape for $1800 is a screaming deal these days, sure people will assume you are old, embrace it and get the senior discount at drive throughs all over the country. Nice Price

I made a similar comment, with the unspoken hope that maybe somebody would enlighten me on why the Suzuki seems to trade significantly higher than the Honda.

Don’t think it is too far off but still a little too high.

This snake is at 50/50 at the moment, Rob please come look and call it a first time ever tie...

Absolutely correct, nobody is buying this to take to work on Tuesday even if it is raining out, the weather protection is beside the point, or kinda proves the point that this beast was built to go, not to make you want to take a nap in it.

Wow, this bike seems to be in very nice shape, and I have to admit I have never heard of this particular model, but it seems like a little over half the asking price would be more appropriate. It’s not like it is a CBX or Z1. Anyway, no dice by the factor of many thousands of dollars, but looks like a nice example of

The drivetrain sits in front of the front axle for the most part

I had one just like this (there was a Jalopnik article about it when I sold it on BaT, too lazy to look it up) not as nice, but same delightful orange. I always wanted one, these are cool, to my eye they look like a mini Italian exotic from the same era.

I see lots of cars with wheels I hate, I don't get what is so bad about these.
