Desirable car, the mods and condition aren't too bad, but over 20k and pushing 200,000 miles is just many miles and too much money.  Maybe the market differs, don't know, but for me it is a no dice for the high miles.

I don’t think the parts for these would be that bad, Lotus made than engine for a long time, also used in Jensen Healey’s which rusted away leaving their motors behind. Stromberg carbs, Lucas electrics and lots of bitsa trim from various period cars. Also, considering you pay this or more for a nice MGB or TR6 these

I never saw that, it looks really good. I have this dream that some manufacturer will make a truck that is lower for better aerodynamics, MPG, load height, and looks, and that people will realize how much better it is than the behemoths that they are now driving and it will sell like hotcakes...alas, it is only a

I know times have changed quite a bit, but I am seeing rough running trucks for cheap around here again.  I agree they have gone way up, but I can’t quite get to $6k for this truck even with all the price increases.

In 2019 I bought a Ranger with slightly more miles (about 220,000) for $950. It ran and drove fine, was a very base model and rough around the edges.

Flip side, they got paid the fare they don't fly a leg the airline saves on fuel and service for the flight, each passenger does add an incremental though probably small amount to each flight for fuel, time spent by staff on the (now fewer) passengers boarding and getting free pretzels and a coke (maybe) on the flight.

I didn’t watch the video, I generally will not watch videos, but wants more visibility and, from the picture, currently drives a BMW, the obvious answer is a BMW 2002, the car with the most glorious greenhouse and best visibility ever.

Yes, totally agree

Towing company does illegal, unethical shit, that is news?

Lack of power accessories isn’t a bad thing on an older car, but I suspect the four pot will keep interest and price down. Guess you could swap in a new engine and transmission, but I would want to pick it up for less if I was going to do all that work.

I agree with most of what you said, but I don’t think going the direction of asking deep personal questions about addiction or the status of your relationship or whatever is going to help matters at all, would make it worse if celebs felt they were going to be hit up with hard or embarrassing questions about their

The holes may or may not get smaller, but I think there has been enough “embiggening” of vehicles the last couple decades that it is pretty easy to assign fault.

Sort of goes without saying (0r at least we have reached the point where saying it is getting redundant). 5-7 years ago this was a $3000-3,500 car, combination of rising tides lifting all boats and the water cooled Porsches starting to get more love these days you see prices like this.

For me it was the Honda S2000, if you look at the essence of the 2000s as what is was rather than what was to follow this is a good answer. Mazda came out with the Miata a decade earlier, and it sold and sold. Everybody had to come out with their own small, relatively modestly priced sports car and we suddenly had a

Sorry the weak Bond movie association doesn’t get me to a premium on a car that isn’t that desirable in the first place, also coral paint always looks faded red to me. Triple no dice, I am out.

Yeah, I have borrowed my brother in law’s truck late model F150, forgot how high I was off the ground when I got out and nearly broke an ankle. I do not enjoy driving a big vehicle like that for a wide variety of reasons, I am sure some of it is what you are used to, but having borrowed full size trucks for several

I drove a 325is a couple summers ago. If you want a smallish rear wheel drive sporty car, but want to be a little more upright than you would be in a Porsche or Miata this is a really nice package. The Bauer conversion is a nice conversation starter compared to the more common (and currently less valuable than a

And I see articles all over the place describing the new Maverick as a “tiny” truck. I know I may be in denial, but I refuse to accept the huge size, especially height, of new full sized trucks as “normal”, they are bloated, see also articles on pedestrian deaths being up, there are consequences to this beyond just

So coupled with rare you usually need a few other things to establish a decent market value beyond basic used transportation.

I had never heard the term before, but was expecting “chick car”. I think there was a time not that long ago that sororities had quotas they needed to meet regarding percentage of sisters who drove a square VW convertible.
