I can’t find a seat height dimension, but the Civic is 55.7 the inches high and the HRV is 63.2. Front seat headroom is within .2" of each other, so unless the HRV's roof is 7.5" inches thicker than the Civic's the seat height is substantially higher in the cute ute.

100% agree.  Federal crash standards and testing will have vehicles with tank turrets instead of a greenhouse soon.

My wife had one of these in lease when I met her. They are not really as sporty as the looks suggest. The engine is adequate, but not particularly torquey or peaky, handling once again ok, but not stellar.

I don't know, but there was a local guy that had one with a Ford V8 stuck in it.  Believe some cutting was required.  He autocrossed it (for fun more than wins).  We called it the Frite.  A rotary conversion is popular too, you can get a lot more power and doesn't disturb weight distribution too much.

Agree 100%, while there seems to be a learning curve for roundabouts, four way stops are just a cluster, particularly at crowded intersections. This is great Jalop—and look at all those regular cars pulling trailers—cue in the comments that you would be crazy to try to pull anything bigger than an 800 pound sailboat without a 2.5 ton dually truck.

If it really runs and drives well and doesn't sound like a bucket of bolts I will give it a tentative nice price.  I would see if he would swap beck to the silver rims if I gave full ask.  Or would see if I could buy it at a discount as it sits.

I think the Corvette was body on frame, so easier to modify than a unibody car, may be part of the reason.
