Awesome. Yay facts. Thank you.
One thing I started with my husband this year which has already started working is a promise to check in with each other if we’re going to spend more than $20. If you’re single, you can get a spending accountabili-buddy and do the same thing. Or you can do an enforced 48 hour waiting period.
As someone with a very intimidating pile of dishes in my sink and going onto my counter—seconded.
Could you please post your source for this? I did some Googling and couldn’t find anything. OpenSecrets.org suggests that their donations went to Congressional candidates of both parties. The report posted on their website seems to support as well. Couldn’t find anything on 2020.
Oh, goddammit, really? We go to CVS all the time. Guess that’s over. Shit.
Yes—this exactly.
I was driving to work Friday and NPR had some Freedom Caucus asshole talking about the comment, and he said the “vulgarity” was unfortunate, but totally doubled down on the sentiment.

And you couldn’t reserve seats in the movie theater on your phone. We didn’t even have phones! Phones were the things in…
This is how I see it. If nothing else, we’re obligated to bear witness and record what’s happening, because it will be studied as a cautionary example for decades if not centuries.
I was getting an Uzo Aduba vibe, but Octavia Spencer is another who’s excellent in everything.
Yeah, hate to say it, but I totally believe the Conners would be Trump supporters. And I can see Jackie being pro-Hillary, and Darlene OBVIOUSLY moved to Chicago and became a big city liberal.
Nope—historic storm surge. That’s sea water.
The minute—the very minute—I read that Trump was trying to block publication of the book, I ordered a copy. I’m not even sure when I’ll get around to reading it. But banning books is a line in the sand, and I’m more than happy to hand over my $20 + S&H put a thumb in his eye.
I too have a Nuclear Button . . . and my Button works!
And Dijon mustard.
