Same here, I used to play an awesome game called Millennium 2.2 on my Atari ST that was very similar to this but you could build bases all over the solar system.

And don’t forget to pick the bigger, stronger kids for your team.
Don’t you blaspheme! Don’t you blaspheme in here! #bluesbrothers

Same here! Am going to try your approach, seems like a great idea.
This! It’s actually cool to see tracking visualized as well, you can also make it available to others to see your progress (or lack thereof) to keep you accountable.
I always buy a TON of toys, games, and crayons there when I travel to Liberia in Africa for missions work. The low prices mean more for the orphanage kids, which is awesome.
This was by far one of the best HIW entries I've read so far, thanks Manoush!
Wallet sense is also much more comfortable in cargo shorts, haha
I do the exact same thing. It's like you can physically tell when something's missing, instead of just having to remember making sure you have your stuff with you.

Thanks for posting this, I sent one to my friends in Liberia to help screen for fever during this Ebola crisis, and they need more. Perfect timing.

Exactly! I just built a new PC for the first time in 10 years, and chose the 512GB Crucial MX100 for the OS/apps drive. Blazing fast! The thing boots up in 10 seconds, and everything loads almost instantly. Been waiting 30 years for this kind of tech :D

Right on, brother! I played STAR FIRE as well at age 11 in 1979 and it was amazing. Star Raiders was the first game I got for my Atari 800XL in 1984, been waiting for something like this for decades. We're finally close :D
This is great! I'd used the method you linked to, but did not know about this one. ANY little shortcut like this that makes things more efficient is always helpful, thanks.
I think mine was 72637.xxx (can't remember the last 3), 300-baud at $6/hour in 1985. Ever play MegaWars? It was amazing to play against other people and be able to chat in-game. Us 300-baud dudes thought you 1200 guys must have been rich :D Didn't they jack up the price to $12/hour or something like that for the…
This is great! Been a LH reader for years, and there have been some tremendous travel hacks that have really helped me when traveling to Africa. It'll be great to have these types of stories all in one place, thanks guys!
It truly is, I can't help but smile even 10 years later after first seeing it back in 2004. Must've been a blast to be there.
