Agreed, but they're almost all Obamabots, sadly. We're competing against Stewart and Colbert as "news."

"Your all lazy." At least get your spelling and grammar right, if you're going to speak up for milliennials. Bahahahaha!!!

Same here, I still have one of the first models that I got before senior year in high school back 1986...thing still works! I think it had 30 "pages" of text memory. Pretty slick for the time :D

Hahaha YES. I started with at 300 baud on CompuServe back in 1985 and then moved on to the BBS scene. XModem protocol and all that :D Everything worked great until someone picked up an extension phone in the house and broke the connection...

I do the same thing, My Tracks is awesome! I really hope they keep supporting and improving it.

It really is timeless, "Himself" still makes me laugh out loud all of the years later. The bit about his wife sending him downstairs to cook breakfast for the kids is one of the funniest things I've ever heard :D Great story about your dad!

Same here, haha. Alas, we also had these fine fashions to contend with in the Sears & JC Penney catalogs...

Thank you for sharing that!

Haha, count me as another weirdo, I also love the pacing. The director's cut cleaned things up a bit, but the original is still great and perfect playing in the background.

Great post, thank you for sharing. I try to do the same thing whenever I see a veteran wearing one of those ballcaps, and have heard some AMAZING stories. I've met pilots, navigators, medics, infantrymen, you name it. They almost always brighten up as you described when asked about their service, it's sad to me that

Same here, those fueled my imagination through junior high and high school. Saved quite a few issues, it's quite fun to read through them again once and awhile! What a time that was.

Hmm! Great catch, didn't notice that before. Wonder if they went back in an added those censor boxes?!

I found that as well! Looked it up on Google Maps, turns out there is a hospital or clinic there.

Uh...is this woman staring back at us? I think she sees the pano rig! :D

That's exactly what I thought as well, haha.

Awww, man! That show was awesome! The "Danger Island" episodes were also great for us 70s kids.

LOL you win. My parents got the first 3 for me in the early 80s, and I kept reading the series for a few years after that. Now an adult, I must share my horrific experiences to prevent the next generation from psychological torment.

Great article! I experienced anxiety BIG time as a lowly Airman First Class in in the Air Force 20 years ago, had to brief incoming base personnel about computer safety and security practices. Stood there in front of majors, colonels, and so forth and had to be authoritative about what I was telling them. I can't

I was, too! Although...I was only a year old and don't remember it >.< There's a picture of me sitting in front of the TV watching the whole thing though :D
