Whenever I get new skills, I like to mess around manually for a while to get a feel for them, and then equip the ring and mash square to see if the auto-combat shows me any neat combos I can adopt. Ring stays off in any actual combat, but I’ve definitely appreciated it as what I consider a dynamic preview system.

Can’t believe that only the other day some cryptosimp was arguing to me that NFTs could replace Patreon. Setting aside that NFTs don’t provide the same functionality their argument was it would remove the middleman and that users would only have to pay a transaction fee. I wish I’d known sooner that these fees can

“It’s in the blockchain” is indistinguishable from “It’s got electrolytes.”

Pretty much my thoughts on the matter as well.

That... is actually quite shocking footage. If I were Nintendo I’d want to erase it from the normal areas of the internet too.

It’s weird to me that a gaming website is constantly surprised at the existence of copyright law, and doesn’t seem to quite grasp that the law does not require that you make money off the infringement for it to be illegal.

Yeah I’m happy to switch to metric, but I will continue to stan for Fahrenheit for the weather. It’s simply a better scale for covering how humans experience temperature.

Geno or bust.

After detailed and thoughtful analysis like this, I really don’t understand why the “debate” continued and became so toxic and aggressive.

Full on Tactics sequel or GTFO! No compromise! You hear me SquareEnix?!

Press b twice to escape that camera angle.

Nathan: So this is the weird thing for me: Ideologically, I do not care about spoilers and think everybody should just be free to talk about games as they please. But then when it comes to particular games I intend to play, I’m always like “No, don’t tell me about it.” Like, my partner is playing Yakuza: Like A Dragon

Again, I repeat, “you”, a hypothetical non-descript generalized consumer, cannot have it both ways. Either you want a console that plays “the coolest looking new games” or you do not. You cannot simultaneously demand wildly huge improvements over a previous generation while also demanding to have it at an infeasible

Look, I still don’t see how $599 was some kind of “insane” asking price. You can’t demand companies keep pushing hardware limits, giving you bleeding edge tech with unlimited teraflops and then also demand they do it for “As Seen On TV” prices.

I never took the time to play as a mage in Demon’s Souls; I’m excited to get to do that this time around. I hope they bring back the soul tendency (I’m forget the actual term) to each stage. Lastly, forget the reaper. It was the octopus faced mages that kicked my ass. I’ll never forget the first time I ran up on one

I clicked on this article thinking this image would have been the featured image. Here it is in the comments.

Are you fucking serious with this entitled bullshit? Sakurai has had to go to the hospital multiple times and continued to work while in his hospital room and here you are complaining that he isn’t working hard enough because Smash takes more than a year to release.

Any bets on when it gets a battle royale mode?

In my current game, we wandered into goblin territory to find that our sorcerer had passed through a few years ago and accidentally started a cargo cult.

My friend has been playing a morally ambiguous hero who ‘rescued’ a goblin only to force the goblin to wear humiliating costumes and be degraded at every opportunity. TBH, I’m a little worried about him.
