Whenever I get new skills, I like to mess around manually for a while to get a feel for them, and then equip the ring and mash square to see if the auto-combat shows me any neat combos I can adopt. Ring stays off in any actual combat, but I’ve definitely appreciated it as what I consider a dynamic preview system.

I remember the Salt Raiders group played this for a good while, and were seemingly early adopters/promoters of it. They even had some themed cosmetics added into the game as twitch drops, but supposedly they had to stop due to developer drama. Apparently when Among Us got a decent update the group decided to play a

Ahhhh this came at the perfect time. The game’s scuff became a lot less amusing a few hours ago when a crash wiped out 6 gyms of progress. I’m glad I set the game aside for the night instead of regrinding. The 3rd save was from just after the last gym I beat.

Favorite thing I’ve figured out over the course of gameplay was the quick move mechanic. It kind of pseudo-cancels out of fusion arts (as well as normal arts later on) and makes hitting positional combos like side break>back attack feel a lot smoother.

To me the only useful part of Imperial is Fahrenheit temperatures specifically in regards to weather and human comfort. Broad strokes, but generally nobody is gonna be comfortable below 0 or above 100 (And that range is of course going to be smaller and different for each individual).

Beyond that.... cups/quarts/gallon

Book 4 was amazing, and Triandra is probably my favorite Heroes design, but Nott or Dagr (bottom pic) would be my choice from there. Their Valkyrie aesthetic is great and bonus points for not using swords.

I’d probably Pick Nott between the two. Ike is a swordsman, but you could easily replace Ragnell with Urvan, and

Honestly, I just hope the last character is interesting. I don’t really play other fighting game series, so Kazuya and Terry always felt like super boring picks to me, and I didn’t care much for Banjo/Steve/Min min (although admittedly with Min Min, I was more surprised ARMS rep wasn’t base game).

I probably won’t get

Back in FFXIV: Stormblood, a series of alliance raids started leaning on Ivalice (both 12 and Tactics) stories/characters/themes. I was so hopeful We’d hear something, *anything*, about tactics to kinda piggyback cross-promo it but... nothing.

At least they did Thunder God Cid justice.

Super Mario RPG. I think the world and enemies in a style similar to the recent Link’s Awakening remake would be a perfect fit, although the humanoid characters should probably be less stylized than they were in LA. One of my first games, and to this day it ranks among my favorites.

Other candidates~
Resident Evil Zero,

Off brand illithids are just as terrifying and dangerous as the WotC variety.

Can’t wait to see people meet Flamelurker, Penetrator, and False King. They set the baseline for so many fantastic fights down the line.

Maneaters however, can go jump off their bridge, and hopefully they don’t waste the Dragon God this time around.

I’m pretty sure I started reading Thomas Covenant around the time I first watched this. Two very notable instances of leprosy in media made for a slightly odd coincidence given how rarely it’s touched upon in general. The only other time I remember it being a topic was during some of the later Camulod Chronicles books.

I’ll just leave this here, a bit of forced perspective with the oil barrel bathtub> smokestacks, coupled with a loooot of impressive set dressing.

Burning Sand has come a long way in 15 years

You ring?

Do yourself a favor if you’ve fallen into the trap, try Dark Souls without shield turtling the entire time. To paraphrase an argument by HBomberguy~ By getting rid of shields almost entirely, Bloodborne forces you to learn a more active gameplay pattern (dodge, parry, punish). In doing so it retroactively fixes older

So, what this tells me, is that I Am Bread needs a port to Switch

“Valhalla! Valhalla!! Valhalla!!!!” GET OFF OF ME ROTA

This has been an issue for me, on and off, for the last 2 years. I’ve only made it to step 7 in the past, although I’ve become a master at step 9.

If you’ve rescued me from my near nightly fate of being woken up by fans spinning up and screens coming to life, you will officially become a hero to me.

I’VE DEALT WITH

Yup Royal Blue is the one true name.
