My daughter applied to USC and got her rejection letter today, and her UCLA rejection letter yesterday. All I know is that I will be writing letters to both schools requesting a refund of the application fees. They all promise a fair and complete review of all of the application. Clearly that is not the case.

Schools are so desperate for money (undergrad degrees are their cash cows) that they’ll definitely get in somewhere with a legal donation, but it won’t be anywhere with a good academic reputation.
