A little off topic here, but I soured on Baumbach when he left Jennifer Jason Leigh for Greta Gerwig. Maybe it’s because I have a soft spot for JJL from watching Fast Times at RIdgemont High over and over (and over) again as a kid, or maybe because I believe all the gossip that he was really shitty to JJL and left

I am guessing it was an autocorrect from “shoulder”.

“...it was the Queen who I was most impressed with!”

When Gil Hodges died, his son heard it on the radio. That is literally how he found out his father was gone. I am always so grateful to hear when news organizations hold back reports until the family has been notified. Whether it is the actual family (in Ann Meyers case) or the created family (ESPN did not report

I feel sorry for Adam Clayton and Larry Mullin.  I wonder if they’ll even get a postcard.

Oh no!  I didn’t mean to do that!  I over-corrected the autocorrect!

The Lindsay Shoockus story is all about how she went to SoulCycle in Cannes and “was quickly the center of attention”. And somehow everyone knew it was her birthday and made a big fuss.

Puerto Rico should love President Trump. Without me, they would have been shut out!”

Ooooh... I like that!!  I feel so cool now!

Serious question - I am truly fashion impaired - what about dark denim jacket with white denim jeans. I was always told you can’t do denim-on-denim AT ALL so I thought all combos were frowned upon.

As a preschool teacher I can attest to this. So many parents send their kids in with snacks/ lunches I would devour in a second - leftover scallion pancakes, seafood pasta - and they won’t touch it. And all their parents are mystified when we tell them they wouldn’t eat it. “But she always loved it!” Yeah, well -

While he was at Johns Hopkins, he actually saved my friend’s kid’s life. When she was supporting him I was in shock (I only met her a few years ago - long after the kid was born and the surgery). Then she explained to me that they had a connection and I thought, “Well, I guess I would do the same thing if he had

Can someone remind me why there is so much hate for Colin Jost? I am not being snarky - he seems pretty harmless to me but maybe I missed something?

I am a school teacher and I assure you, it is a pain in the ass. Don’t name your kid Khrystynne and get mad at me when I misspell it or call her “Kristen” instead of “Christine”. And I can assure you that naming your son Wolf is setting him up for some playground taunts.

How is no one talking about the return of Sue?!?  Sure it was brief, but I gasped when I saw her.  I loved her character and missed her as the years went on.  It was awesome to see her and her deadpan delivery and continued disdain for everyone around her.

I am one of those people. I definitely wanted to be her. I was super young when the show was on and not allowed to watch, but just seeing her in magazines and in the commercials... she embodied cool. That hair! The sunglasses!

The woman who came up with “no money, no come-y” was friends with the woman who came up with “be best”?  Shocking.

That is my FAVORITE - both the episode and the line!!! My friend and I quote it all the time!! So glad to know someone else out there appreciates its brilliance.

I posted on this site once before about my encounter with David Cassidy (NYC bar, I was hammered, walked right into him and instead of saying “excuse me, I sang “I Think I Love You”, he was.... not impressed). The other one I have is this....
