Nah, they just knew EXACTLY how the boys on Twitter would react to a sex positive female superhero.  This attitude isn’t new, and these guys make it stupid easy to bait a reaction from.

I found the whole THR piece rather reassuring with regards to the show. The idea that Amazon won the bid because they picked the biggest Tolkien nerds they could find and came up with a better idea than HBO and Netflix feels very much like we dodged a bullet here.

This was a really good episode, and for me at least it solidifies She-Hulk as a good MCU property. Even if the improv style gets annoying sometimes.

Córdova is so committed to his role that Arondir is the Elf hero we didn’t know we needed. Casting him was a creative swing for the fences against type and expectations and he paid off so much more than just another Legolas clone.

I love it. Everyone I know loves it. Especially the Tolkien diehards including me. Beautifully created, written, and acted, and amazingly reverent toward Tolkien within the license limits. I’m shocked at how good it is.

It’s telling that in world with actual fucking dragons it is a bridge to far for POC to be there.
