Mass transit exists and can get you anywhere - it just takes 4 changes and three times as long as driving.

So they can be left all over the place for people to trip over, wheelchairs and limited mobility people to get injured on, and creating a general urban eyesore. Hard pass. I love that there are companies and localities that are cracking down on this crap. No scooters without docks.

I have a feeling the author does not live in socal. Using public transportation in socal is a good way to double or triple your travel time. It works great in area that are not as spread out.
