I bet it would've been good storage for some empty calories and male curiosity.
The 15" and the 21UX (first gen) were both bought used off craigslist. The 15 I purchased for 750 dollars and then 2 years later sold for 700. I bought the 12wx new for 1000 and then sold for 500 (it wasn't all that great other than I could fit it in a backpack). The 21UX was bought for 800 I believe. Functionality…
This just reminded me of how the number of screens I had fluctuated as I went through and past college:
and all that food your parents bought you as a kid went down the crapper. doesn't mean they shouldn't have fed you at all, and doesn't mean those toys weren't thoroughly enjoyed.
Our wedding's on Saturday, and after we went out of the way to invite a cousin's boyfriend after having met him once (a few days before the invites went out, so it was hard to ignore), him RSVP'ing, then panicking for a few weeks that we'd go over budget, we find out two days ago that he wasn't able to get out of work…
Apply a separate consistent rule regarding cousins, probably the same you'd apply to your friends. Only one of our cousins had a boyfriend (we see her once every two years), and we met him once literally a few days before the invites went out, and we had no choice but to invite him, which they said yes.
Well the more important thing is that crashplan only saves files, they don't save permissions and other settings (at least on Mac). You can't recover to a bootable disk just by selecting all of the files and clicking "restore." I found this out firsthand when my fiancee's hard drive crashed just two months after we…
This is a very educational post, and I thank you for posting it. I work on the production side of the entertainment industry (I'm a motion graphics designer for film and TV) so you're free to call me out with bias.
I actually don't think studios have any say in HOW theaters price their tickets, and as far as I know the ratio that studios have taken from theaters has remained stable for a long time. I'm open to data that proves this otherwise, but as far as I now there's nothing that says the movie theaters don't share at least…
Without getting into the doldrums of whether or not "movies have been going downhill and that's why people aren't going," it seems myopic to call out film companies for trying to get their investment back, especially given how the profit margins of films have definitely been decreasing the past few decades. Pacific…
You're correct. Personally I don't think there are any viable DIY standing desks that can adjust to a sitting desk on the fly; true adjustable desks are expensive for a reason.
I'd love to know what phone you're using on what firmware and what service provider.
no no cool his hot heart with a warm island song!
yeah I was creeped out by that too. Definitely not veiled.
This is the first reasonable response I've heard to this question. I can certainly see it being helpful for people who, say, use a keyboard with a TV and their lap. But I still find any time I have to type any consistent string of numbers (like when I do my bookkeeping), no number pad is just a killer.
Not entirely relevant, but I really can't understand how anybody who uses an external keyboard can stand to use one without a number pad.
That's funny I also recently built a standing desk using very similar parts for when I moved back to working from home, and taking my high-end work hackintosh with me; I haven't dual-booted it yet, but I just feel kind of silly standing for hours at work and then unwinding by continuing to stand up and play games on…
