I'm shocked it took me this long to discover Goodsync. I have 3 computers that I try to keep synced up as identically as possible (an iMac and a Hackintosh at work, and a MBP at home) that were all borne from the same time machine backup.

Playstation's never been about innovative controls like Nintendo is, though (and quite frankly as much as I appreciate Nintendo's commitment to this I still don't think they've gotten it right on any of their controllers. Each new one presents a new problem). Xbox is still only on its 2nd iteration and the first time…
This is my main non-ending gripe in general about ME3. When the story starts with EARTH GETTING INDEPENDENCE-DAYED, you're effectively removing any possible thematic gameplay reason to do sidequests. You'd think in real life you'd focus only on getting the various races buddied up with you and getting the fuck back to…
You were absolutely not the only one.
I got my iMac in the summer of 2008 and I have yet to do a complete reinstall of OSX. In that time my data went from the iMac to a MBP and to a Hackintosh and another iMac (the MBP, Hackintosh, and iMac are all running concurrently), from Leopard to Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion (skipped Lion). It runs well ENOUGH…
As I said to the other commenter, when I give 50 dollars to NPR I think they'd still call it a donation to a fundraiser instead of a purchase, even though I'm guaranteed to get a tote bag out of it. I would say the distinction is that your reward may or may not be directly purchasing the item the kickstarter is meant…
If that's the case then it's definitely a purchase of a good or service. But I still say it's a donation. you know how you get a tote bag for donating to public television? You're promised that tote bag, but it's called a donation. Still not an investment.
Um, the distinction is that they're donating to a product, not investing, and not purchasing. If it was investing one would assume getting a share of the company and of profits. Kickstarter is legally specifically NOT that (or else the SEC would have something to say about it).
It's actually not all that impossible to make it look decent. I think the biggest problem people make with the costume is 1) making the green too bright, and 2) not making the suit shiny. Yes there's a certain tackiness with vinyl fabrics but but darker and shinier would give it better contours that would complement…
The Asuka with eyepatch is pretty yummy, though it's a very obscured and myspace-y angle.
The 1st scenario he describes is logically out of line compared to your scenario, but the second is actually relatively sound (the one about making women look at an ultrasound of their baby before getting an abortion). Many argue that merely providing that "information" is an attempt to get customers to not go through…
Looking for a new ftp solution for Mac. I have a web server with a private area I put files for clients, and currently I use FireFTP for Firefox, which is fantastic, but I'm considering transitioning out of firefox to Chrome. But FireFTP is a really decent FTP app and I can't leave until I find a suitable replacement.
I used http://www.upgrademydropbox.com/ which takes care of it simpler, for 10 bucks. I was kind of incredulous about it but for 10 bucks I figured it was low risk. It took more like 36-48 hours for everything to come in, but it worked.
Thank you so much! You're right, most of my drives lately have been less than 10 miles round trip, through Los Angeles of all places, so definitely bad for fuel economy (I should indeed check my tire pressure though). Luckily LA is pretty consistent weather-wise and is low-moisture so cars tend to last longer here (my…
Here's a semi-related question: My car is approaching 6 years old, only amassed 36,000 miles (I work from home mostly). I haven't gotten it maintained since the first six or so months I got it, from the dealer (and after the cost of that, never again). I've gotten the oil changed every 3,000 miles or 6-7 months,…
I agree. I have my T2i and it's perfect for the amount of shooting I do (which is to say I mostly use it for video, and only about once a month).
It was number 1 two weeks ago. You can see our review here: http://boxofficedemocracy.tumblr.com/post/42419484151/year-2-week-5-warm-bodies
Well yeah the point is if I start a message, don't type anything on it, and close it 5 seconds later, it shouldn't save a draft... there was nothing to save.
The current gmail layout seems to make it too easy for unfinished drafts to get saved, especially even when I haven't written anything (I'll often start writing an email as a reply only to realize i should start a new thread, or vice versa). I hate seeing a number next to my drafts tag. Is there any way around this?
I look forward to my first cruise, and as a blackjack afficionado I look forward to getting some gaming.
