...I don't think anyone ever really said "man, I really wish iPhones didn't use Google maps." In fact now I can see people who would've ditched Apple to move to Android to keep their google maps go BACK TO APPLE since there's no need to go switch to Android now.

Very interesting, though i would say there's still a difference between 1 and 6 cigarettes a day. But it does seem odd to me, like someone saying they eat one M&M day. I can understand never wanting it, always wanting it, and every now and then eating a whole bag (or smoking a whole pack).

On a purely visual and sensory level, yeah, as a non-smoker I believe it looks (and feels) cool. It's like you're your own personal fog machine.

Agreed. And plenty of sandbox games still have decent narratives, the GTA games do a decent enough (by game standards, at least; at best the GTA game narratives play as pastiches from the crime genre's most famous tropes) job of infusing narrative while keeping the flow open-ended.

One of the biggest disconnects for me with sandbox games like this (especially with Mass Effect, which I also love) is they go out of their way to make the story engaging by creating something with incredibly high stakes and drama, where your loved ones are dying around you, a race against time thriller, and then have

Not all that familiar with the Pa Kent mythology, but was this dichotomy between his philosophy and Jor-El's ever dilineated like that in the comics? I have to admit it's something I never thought about and I'm still not sure if I buy it, but it's novel and I'm willing to give it a shot.

I smoke maybe once or twice a year at parties because let's admit it, it looks cool, but I was wondering if there were people out there that COULD sustain long-term smoking habits only smoking one cigarette a day. Seems like it wouldn't be enough for you to sustain a continuing addiction to it and if it did it would

Actually if my instincts are correct I think this movie will have the "present" movie X-Men (the Stewart-McKellen movies) be the "future" comic X-Men (i.e. the Sentinel dystopia), while the "past" movie X-Men (Fassbender and McAvoy) will be the "present" comic X-Men (which you're right, does not involved Magneto). Oh

Man I'd be so down if the demo video wasn't clearly done as a visual effect. I'm slightly more incredulous at crowdsourced products that don't at least have a real prototype to show off. But if/when it gets released I'll definitely consider it!

But isn't the right only applicable as long as you have access to the playable media on the disc? I'm just playing devil's advocate because you seem to want to logically defend what right you have when you purchase a piece of physical media. Same as needing to get your hand stamped to gain reentry into an event. The

More hackintosh questions!

When my family first moved to the US in 1993 (I was 9 at the time, from the Philippines), my dad, who had arrived first and prepared our apartment, had a batch of old and incomplete TNMT action figures ready on my bed when we arrived. None of them were of the main heroes/villains and I don't recall any weapons among

With this much stuff it's just not worth the time for many sellers. Think about all the flakes you get when you sell stuff on craigslist, and multiply it for all of these items.

Hey all, I have an iPad 1 and I REALLY wanna get this game, does anyone know if the 1 is up to snuff to run it?

Wait wait wait... are you guys selling penis mightiers?

...she would do back to you, but devoid of charisma, timing, wit, and personality. (but hey you probably just needed her to lie there like a corpse, so it should be fine)

There is a big difference to me between money/cash and gift cards. Amazon is the only thing that comes CLOSE. Otherwise it's another thing that I have to remember to spend in full the first time around or else I risk spending MORE money just to use that gift (getting a 20 dollar card and getting something that was 25

It's a tree in the forest deal. I think your quote is only a quote when someone else quotes it. Otherwise it's just another thing you said that nobody thought too much about.

Yeah sadly as good as the work these guys are doing is, when it's used on a low budget show like this the choice is between lots of lens flares or a really clean look that shows how subpar the effects are no matter how hard they try.
