Since the cameras just sit out there they could've easily accumulated mist or fog on the lens, which you can mitigate with processing obviously (the contrast definitely) but the softness wouldn't be easily removed. I like that it's not processed, it's part of the candid charm.

Amazon has been great for me regarding customer service, they've given me leeway on purchases before ( letting me redownload albums that were unfinished halfway through, letting me rerent video rentals because of a billing mistake, etc) so unfortunately I might give them the benefit of the doubt that you missed out on

After Apple Maps took me on a ridiculous route through Los Angeles in which it gave me a route using freeways when sidestreets was both closer and faster, it also insisted I EXIT the freeways altogether in order to get on ANOTHER freeway, one that connected organically (from the 5 south to the 110)

The white glass is fine with me but I really would love if the chamfer wasn't shiny. This isn't as big a deal with the black version but the white would be pretty perfect for me if not for that, which makes it look cheap (it's "blingy")

Okay yup I just installed the replacement card and it did indeed "work out of the box*" :). Which means that if you ever get one of these cards and it doesn't, it's probably broken and get a replacement!

The comparison between Europe and Vietnam is kinda silly, in that Europe is a continent with many different countries and Vietnam is just one country that's smaller than many European countries (like Germany).

Haha so I put this card in to my install two weeks ago and it would not work AT ALL. Like wouldn't even show up in the device list even. I returned it to newegg and got a replacement while I was gone for the holidays and now it's sitting next to my desk waiting to be put in. gimme an hour or so and i'll give an update

Yup no guy has ever had to "prove" themselves in any of those careers because they were a man, and at best they will be judged in the application process based on their merits equally as a woman (where in the opposite situation women will almost ALWAYS have a distinct disadvantage BEFORE they even start looking at

Yeah like how those Joe Schmos in the 1950's have become lazy and dependent on the Joe Schmos of the 2010's to remind them that Nigerian Princes don't share their wealth with random old people from Nebraska.

I bet many women say the same thing about you and your penis.

Hmm, not that I'm gonna complain, but that feed just threw 331 unread items on my reader (I mean I'll still read it that way ;) )

haha wow. Um, let's say every 10am and 3pm. Also thanks and hope you don't kill yourself!

For example as a huge fan of Marvel comics in the 80's, I'm dismayed I only discovered this site recently: http://marvel1980s.blogspot.com/ It's been running since 2009. I'd love to be able to have it start at the beginning and push me a post twice or so a day from the beginning.

Chronosync has been pretty decent for syncing 3 computers (I should have mentioned that I am using an external drive to keep the 3 computers in sync; I plug the drive into each computer and it syncs the files automatically, and then go to the next computer).

Is there a way to take an old no-longer-updating blog and make an RSS feed out of it that starts from the beginning and updates, say, once a day, as though the blog was still new? There are lots of defunct blogs I'd love to catch up on but want the convenience of not having to do it all at once and having to remember

Oops this was in reply to the poster who gave the tip about writing a fake pin on the debit card to make the thief lock the card out at an ATM

You could also write 4 different PINs on there, all of them wrong. If the thief tries the pin twice and it doesn't work he might realize that it's a fake. But if you put 4 in there he might think "one of them" is the correct one.

My fiancee and I are taking an impromptu trip to Germany for Thanksgiving week (coming from Los Angeles) and I was wondering if anyone's had first hand experience using the iPhone (specifically 5)'s GPS and a preloaded maps app (recommendations would be great) to get around without getting roaming charges outside of

Thanks for your guys' help last week about restoring a Hackintosh from a MBP's data (I used Time Machine and it worked pretty flawlessly). Next question:
