“Assault on a female” is an official crime now? Like, with discrete punishment that differs from that which you’d see if you’d assaulted a man?

Perhaps you assume that Big Data players such as FB, Experian, etc. want to do anonymization right. They don’t- they just want plausible deniability when they sell user data.
It would be far more accurate to report that “poorly anonymized data is easy to reverse engineer”. The hypothetical example given (combining zip code, DOB, and gender) would be trivially easy to merge with other public data. It’s simply not well anonymized.
People were definitely aware of the odor. Council Bluffs is my hometown and, while I haven’t lived there in decades, I still have ties to the community. There’s been a lot of talk about the odor of that store — even my old bff talked about it. A lot of people said the odor caused them to not shop there. You kind of…
I’ll take “guy who knows things” shtick over your “performative outrage” shtick any day of the week, thanks.
Counterpoint: NDT has taught me many things, and Jack Crosbie has not enriched my life in literally any conceivable way.
Said absolutely NOBODY ever.
I think it’s really important that the House impeaches, even if it’s a pyrrhic victory and even if there’s no expectation that the Senate will convict. There’s more going on here than just present day politics - there’s historical precedent to consider. If we don’t impeach 45, we’re saying that politics can prevent…
My queer buds and I have sat through the performances of plenty enough ‘authentic’ gay actors to agree with her point. Identity is not talent. And btw, Dante Gill did not identify as trans; the label was applied to her by an academic based on criteria (wearing men’s clothes, insisting on being called Sir, etc) that…
“Although it may seem reductive to cast a woman in the role of “protector,” which can read as very maternal...”
40 years after Alien and 35 after Terminator casting a woman lead is a breakthrough because of “Internet commenters?” Just make a good movie, Tim and Mackenzie, and the rest will take care of itself.
While I’m generally fairly “meh” about the idea of Disney remaking all of their animated classics in live-action, it’ll be SUPER FUN* to watch the trolls lose their absolute shit over this.
This article was not as helpful as I was hoping, Elizabeth.
Any chance of a follow-up that delivers on the premise of the headline?
Say, in the next five minutes? Because I think I just heard sirens.
To each his own I guess. I personally like the Ram design the best, but would never pull the trigger due to FCA reliability concerns.
Just don’t try to split a car.
He found out that there was a woman in the room in New Hampshire who is not Mother.
Neutral: I really enjoy Mazda. I drive a Miata as my daily, and I would absolutely consider buying something like a Mazda 3 down the road when I grow up and actually start driving a grown-up car, some day.
Cancel Disco, do a series back aboard the Enterprise and this time it’ll be a prequel fans actually want and asked for.
Hannibal was not bisexual in any orthodox physical sense. If you read killing together as a sex act, yes, but this is so far as I can tell a controversial position. Emotionally? His affection for Will was very much like adoring a mirror.
something’s missing in these jj storyboards . . . .
