Man, that’s what I want, a big tub of lead oxide and sulphuric acid right inside the passenger compartment! Seriously, how do they vent that thing? I had Miatas with the batteries in the trunk, and they had a tube for a vent to the outside, so gases wouldn’t accumulate in the trunk.

Hopefully not based on reasons such as this. The power companies are just as susceptible to attacks like the one that hit Colonial.

I don’t expect a New York blogger to know anything about what the manufacturers are up to.

I haven’t said anything about the negative tone for months, but finally, you’ve lost me here — disappointing, lazy writing, with no reasoning to support:

Can we just have fun car articles and not this political bullcrap. Some of us come here to escape all that and articles like these ruin my day because now one of the only escapes is just like the rest of media these days.

It’s rude to stare

And then everyone clapped.

I REALLY need to see a full track of cars doing this. Sure the race would only be 30 seconds long and might conclude without a winner, but it would be HIGHLY entertaining.

I love this truck and I do love Jalopnik, I’ve been a follower since 2008.  But for the love of god, can you guys just write automotive articles without predicating them on heated and politically debated topics.  Just providing a hyperlink doesn’t add to any credibility and it takes away from the actual content at

It’s hard to imagine this is an unbiased and accurate review, unfortunately. When you start off flaming on this truck and trucks in general, etc, the rest of it kind of gets tainted. I bet it’s really good on the road, isn’t it? Minus the gas mileage...
