See except a Ridgeline is almost exactly the same size as the new Ranger, so this is not a competitor to that.

Yeah it’s easy to overlook the small Jeeps, they’re all Fiat platforms I think, and really isn’t the Wagoneer supposed to be on the 1500's frame? I guess the new materials in that frame are an improvement but fundamentally that’s a 10 year old design that still had a 4 star crash rating until 2019 while GM and Ford…
I think you’re correct with design and market demand, but what engineering has FCA been up to besides the new Wrangler/Gladiator? I can’t think of anything else.
I find myself watching his videos time and time again, even though I lease a vehicle and have no actual use for this knowledge.
I’d argue Detroit has this too with it’s neighborhoods. Corktown, Mexicantown, Midtown/Wayne, Eastern Market etc. I guess it depends on your targeted market/experience.
Stock price is up almost 3% today.
Resale value and residuals make a difference on this. Even though it’s psychological it does affect values.
I think it’s one of the new modular designs Ford has so yes? I thought they alluded to the fact that this explorer will share something with the next Mustang as well.
The dimensions are nearly identical. I just did this comparison recently I was surprised because I always looked at the Ridgeline as bigger than a Taco or a Colorado.
I can’t believe more people don’t complain about this. A family member has the fancy one with the clever rear seats, and at 6'3" I have nearly no headroom. I wonder if it was sacrificed for the style lines or for 4wd but either way it’s a big sedan that feels claustrophobic.
Wait so you’re saying your truck weighs 1000 pounds less than the ranger and gets comparable mileage, but the Automakers aren’t trying?
It’s coming. And not the Gladiator.
Do they extend out any for towing? I always liked the single arm look Ram has compared to Ford and Chevy.
I think hearing BOV on a commuter pickup truck is a nice surprise, but beyond that, I agree.
You mean the Silverado refresh? Or the medium duty product? I would think the Ranger would more than compensate compared to a refresh on an existing product.
I don’t get why GM announces nearly the same thing Ford did months later yet GM stock goes up and Ford stock dropped. Are they not both trimming fat and focusing on EV’s and mobility? What difference am I missing?
One would assume that’s dead also. Unless it’s built elsewhere because of the powerplant. I certainly can’t think of a bean-counter argument to only make the go fast model and nothing else.
You realize a diesel engine is about 9 large alone right?
This is exactly what I dreamt of when they first showed this off forever ago. Someone call Ken Block. They want to market this to millennials right?
