You should have punched him. I would have sent you a care package in jail.
Ok, fuck this guy for a number of reasons, but mostly because he’s a raging bigot asshole who oughtta be sentenced to a lifetime of waiting in line at Disney World only for the ride to get closed just before he gets on it and also because he made me agree with anybody on Morning Joe.
RBG is goals to end all goals.
God I hope you’re right.

You took the words right out of my mouth.
I’ll say basically the same thing about her that I said about Scalia. I feel sad for her family. It’s tough to lose a loved one, no matter what other people think about that person. But “just say no” and the Reagan attitude towards AIDS cost an untold number of people their freedom or their lives. Those policies also…
Two steps shy of Comic Sans.
I have a couple of friends who I want to frame that for and give to them for house decorations as a truly excellent joke.
I think he also respected brains and there is no denying that both RBG and Kagan are incredibly smart women.
Go nuts, I stole it from Google
I thought exactly the same thing. It was like the entire liberal wing of the Court just RKO’d Texas.
If I had a kid who did some idiot shit like this, he’d be lucky if all I took was his phone. If he had a car, that would be gone. He would only be allowed to use the computer under supervision, and I’d give him one of those old Nokia phones so he’d still be able to get hold of someone in an emergency but his phone…
Oddly enough, I believe Scalia actually advocated for her to some degree. I’m trying to remember where I heard it (I want to say on The Rachel Maddow Show?) but Scalia is quoted as saying “if you won’t bring me someone who agrees with me, at least bring me someone smart” and then naming Kagan, who he had worked with.
To be honest, that’s a significant part of why I’m supporting Hillary over Bernie. I think her plans are doable and, more importantly, she knows how to deal with people who hate her just because she’s who she is. It’s the same thing I so admire about these women. They are unarguably smart and savvy.
(And yes, I know Sandra Day O’Connor is no longer on the squad, but all of the other ones were just RBG.)
I had a similar thought, but it was exhibit at Madam Tussaud’s that got left too close to a radiator. Ted Cruz reminds me of the projects that I, a singularly artistically disinclined child, made during sculpting week in third grade art.
Not that I am admitting to ever having watched a little show entitled Rock of Love with Bret Michaels on VH1, but wasn’t “the wolf pack” the name of one of the cliques of girls on that show? Or maybe I’m confusing it with some other reality show I definitely don’t watch.
“You might regret it” is such a stupid standard I don’t even have a smart-ass reply. I hope against all hope that Kennedy is visited by common sense and empathy and decides with the health and safety of women and against Texas.
