I just threw a lunch party for some girlfriends, and the one who is always crash dieting and obsessing on the latest metafilter trending article shows up and is like ‘I’m on the Whole 30 diet so I can’t have any fruit, legumes, gluten, alcohol, sugar or dairy for 30 days. It’s only been a week but I feel SO much

I saw some of her stand up, and it just wasn’t as funny as her show. It’s disappointing when someone who is genuinely hilarious makes a joke with a racist punchline. I know the point isn’t supposed to be “ha ha this group is stereotypical” but rather “ha ha racism is ridiculous.” It doesn’t work for me at this point.

For real though? Pnina Tornai dresses are ugly af.

Can I just say... it’s like 2 weeks later, and I’m still shocked that it’s InTouch carrying the journalistic water here. But good for them, for real. I know it’s kind of backhanded to say it that way, but I don’t know how to give them a compliment for the truly great work they’re doing here without it sounding

“sometimes I take a poop in my hand and then eat it”

Without coming across as super creepy, but I love you.

She doesn’t know any better. This is a family that teaches their female children that their only worth in life is to breed as many children as they can until they die and service their husband’s needs no matter what. They are considered property in this community. Jim Boob and Michelle probably told the girls that

Yeah! How dare women who weigh less than you want to lose weight for whatever reason! They make me sick too.

True fact: the only times I’ve ever gone to work without makeup, at least one person as said, “Are you okay; you look terrible!”

That's what I said. Everything I liked was insane and far more than we were willing to pay so it was super simple. It was a good number of people. We got to see everyone but it didn't feel like a chore. The food was actually wonderful, probably in part to not having to make and plate 150 entrees. We were able to

It boggles my mind how quickly people rush to defend celebrities they don’t even know. I love Louis CK’s comedy, but now that I’ve been reading about his behavior, I’m inclined to boycott his work and support his victims. There are SO many stories about him being icky, it should take only one, but even with dozens

I love the show Louie, but watching it only makes me believe these stories about C.K. are true. Like, his preoccupation with “fun loving” younger women, but gross, cynical older women. Basically the show is about him being obsessed with getting women to like him.

I used to be a pretty big Louis CK fan, but the last straw for me was when I saw him live a few years ago and one of his punchlines was, “Women wish we loved them as much as we love their tits.” I’m not surprised by any of this.

So why isn’t somebody with more juice than Louis CK coming out about this? If it’s that well known, Seinfeld, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, etc. could do something about it.

Why? That’s not the recommended treatment. That’s a factual statement.

Why. Does. He. Still. Have. A. Job?

How has he not been fired by now? Or at the very least put on permanent filing duty with mandatory daily counselling sessions. Fucking psycho.

Hm—if it’s only a matter of photographer permission, why do they require release forms from the bride/groom?

Oh my god, THIS is why I don’t trust anyone else to do anything for me!

I hear that if you file as married, the IRS checks to see if the men had boutonnieres.
