Is Jeep really that lazy that they recycled a JL 4dr rear door instead of designing a proper rear door for the Gladiator!? That just looks terrible... A proper rear door would have allowed for the full window to roll down instead of a partial window.

The more I see this crap posted in Jalopnik, the less I want to revisit the site!

So, every Toyota Tacoma that had a frame replaced under recall isn’t considered the same truck to you?

That truck is still around, after a frame swap.

When did Jalopnik become TMZ

Preventative Maintenance

Be sure to take the shifter apart and re-grease it! Also do a valve adjustment, spark plugs, and check the timing chain tensioner. (s2000 recommended maintenance)

You bring up a valid point, but every one of those cars will lose value the minute they drive off the lot. The majority of the cars on BAT will only go up in value.

Welcome to the club! You will not be disappointed

Great article, even better photos!

It doesn’t take rocket science to drive a lowered car.

Yes, especially 05 with cable throttle and no vsc/traction control!

All throughout high school I obsessed over the s2000, but had to settle for my 91 civic si lol. Well, I’ve had my s2000 for about 5 years now and it ain’t going anywhere!

200 miles!? Id say “Nicest on earth” is a valid claim. should have pinned the tach to redline though lol

You’re right in every sense! Just like I love my s2000 a new one will be nothing like the original. Hell, the eclipse came back as a crossover haha!

The guy in the black shirt with the “mb2" logo is the owner

This is starting to feel discovery channelish, overly dramatic and on a crunch against time. You’ve had this thing long enough to have everything sorted out by now. Yawn....

S owner as well, and I totally agree. Just like the nsx and “supra” they are nothing like their predecessors. If Honda came out with a sports car under a different name I wouldn’t care as much, but trying to slap on a s2000 badge on a car under today’s standards would be worthless.

Love your posts, keep it up!

Honda of Corona, Ca isnt shy about their markup either... $20k
