Having watched Untucked, I would never want to be friends with Eureka, who never shuts the fuck up, or Vixen, who escalates any situation she can.

I thought Miz Cracker was going to win based on the comments and the fact that Aquarias Martian outfit looked so crafty (I guess that’s a negative thing to say now?)

DeLa won the mini-challenge, the maxi-challenge and the lip synch. Three victories in one episode must be some kind of record.

I may have seen a different episode...the one I saw was about Claire and Jamie trying to find somebody in Jamaica while avoiding capture and forging alliances, with a startling number of people they just kind of met showing up.

...there was also a short scene at a slave market...like you might have in 1700's Jamaica,

As beautifully as this show is filmed (from a cinematic perspective), I had some issues with how well lit that ballroom was. They didn’t have electricity and during most of that mingling scene, you could clearly tell there was a fuckton of artificial light in that room. I don’t know. Maybe it’s just the first time

All right Kayla. Tell me how Claire could have saved the slave in a way that would fit your perfect 21st century liberal view? (btw, I’m as bleeding heart 21st c as they come, but I’m also an historian and a pragmatist). They bought him to save him and were always going to free him but Jamie *is* right- running around

This is a better than normal review, but that doesn’t mean that the reviewer is completely on top of her game, either.

Consistently amused by these reviews. It’s not even like I usually disagree with the broad strokes, I think that the overall opinion on the episodes is generally pretty dead-on but I can’t for the life of me understand how every single time I find myself nodding in agreement with the headline/first paragraph only to

What they said. At some point last year I was certain the reviewer actually hated the series (of course reviews from fans who never criticize are just as bad, but...) Add to that, that she seems to criticize the show on points that she somehow missed, etc, etc. It’s far from perfect, and always—to me—has its slow

No this reviewer doesn’t bother to learn anything about the books and has a vendetta against the characters. Watch the show.

This is a garbage statement Kayla

Don’t go by this reviewer. She makes weird logical leaps and misses hugely important points.

Don’t go by these reviews - the reviewer apparently watches with only about half her attention because she’s always getting things wrong and missing important points. I had a whole rant typed up about this particular review but I apparently didn’t actually hit “publish.”

Totally agree - a Kate a Walsh guest spot/arc would be fabulous. The doppelgängers did absolutely nothing for me except emphasize Sandra Oh is no longer on the show. Personally, I felt it was a very weak 300th episode. I did enjoy Meredith’s winning moments of the Harper Avery-that was beautifully done.

Sorry, but dont agree with this review. Its seems you want everything thrown at you in the span of one episode. More details will come in the next batch. This episode was about their reunion, the first time being together in years. I am glad the focused on the physicality rather than give us 1.20 min of monologues.

I agree that this was the weakest episode of the season so far. As Claire and some of Jamie’s storylines felt a bit rushed but overall it was still a great episode in what has been the best season of Outlander. The relationship between Jamie, Willie and John is enough to give it a solid B, IMO.

The wigs are really distracting to me in this season. Everyone’s wig was so obvious in tonight’s episode! This show is typically sooo gorgeous with great attention to detail, so I have high expectations. But bad wigs seem to be all the rage on TV right now (including GOT). I wish I could look past it. I’m looking

Jamie saying goodbye to his son as A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall plays, while Claire thinks she’s saying goodbye to Jamie, broke my heart more than anything in the show or books ever has. What a choice.

I am loving this season so far, the pace, the direction, the acting. Only 3 episodes in and so much has happened. Personally I loved this episode and cant imagine how difficult it must have been to bring it to life. I will miss Frank but bring on the Time Travel!!!!
