I am about to give up this show. Its turned into complete trash. The villain is god aweful and boring.

Yeah, Jubilee was never able to reach the peak of her mutant powers. Emma Frost and Professor X both stated that she had the untapped ability to become one of the most powerful mutants they encountered. A living fusion bomb.

Really a D+?? This episode was one of the stand-outs but I would not expect any more from the reviewer who is a rude, stuck-up hipster who takes herself too seriously. To think I use to like her. She doesn’t even bother to spend 5 minutes on reading the comments and approving most of the posts. AV Club has turned to

Loved this episode and felt that this reunion between Claire and Jamie felt much more organic. Personally even tough there has been some slower episodes in the second half. This episode and this season have been great, there is no other show on TV quite like Outlander.

These reviews are getting so bad and biased that I really need to find a new place. I loved this episode personally and found it much better than the last three. We finally got to spend some much needed time on Claire the doctor.

Is there some reason my posts are not being approved or are you trying to make me leave this site idefinitely.

Sorry, but dont agree with this review. Its seems you want everything thrown at you in the span of one episode. More details will come in the next batch. This episode was about their reunion, the first time being together in years. I am glad the focused on the physicality rather than give us 1.20 min of monologues.

    What an amazing episode!!!

Personally, I loved this episode. Even the scenes with Brianna and Roger worked. I loved how the episode focused on Claire’s journey and her ultimately taking the decision to travel back! All the little details from the 60s worked perfectly!

I agree that this was the weakest episode of the season so far. As Claire and some of Jamie’s storylines felt a bit rushed but overall it was still a great episode in what has been the best season of Outlander. The relationship between Jamie, Willie and John is enough to give it a solid B, IMO.

I am guessing we will see more of Murtagh in season 4 when in the colonies.

Nooo! The books are not that crazy, at least not yet!

I am loving this season so far, the pace, the direction, the acting. Only 3 episodes in and so much has happened. Personally I loved this episode and cant imagine how difficult it must have been to bring it to life. I will miss Frank but bring on the Time Travel!!!!

As soon as the white witch was mentioned, I was thinking Geillis!

I feel the same, I dont see anything wrong with the scene. If anything its fascinating to see a gay character in the 1700s in these type of situations. John simply mistaked Jamie’s kindness for something else.

Yeah, that I agree with, Claire made a decision and stayed with Frank.

Just because a few people from AV Club dislike it does not mean everyone feels the same. I would say it should be used in measure.

I like the voiceover when used correctly, it gives it more of an intimate feel. In this episode, it worked perfectly for me.

He also chose to stay with her by your logic. They both did for the sake of the kid.

Sounds quite narrow minded of an opinion, especially if you know the whole story.
