I think “Perfect Illusion” is being unfairly derided, but that aside your point is 100% accurate. With the exception of “Bad Romance,” none of her lead singles have been the best tracks on their respective albums.

I came here to say all this but you beat me to the punch!

Actually, the live performance on the link sold me on “Perfect Illusion”. But Gaga’s lead singles tend to be weaker than her follow-up releases: “Just Dance” was passable compared to “Poker Face”; and “Born This Way” was blah compared to “You and I”; and “Applause” was so-so compared to almost everything else on

I heard those too! But I don’t see it happening, he’s way too low on the power ranking for her, imo.

yeah well you’re entitled to your opinion and everything but you’re wrong and i hate you

yo ok it’s catchy af

Because people don’t see it as body-shaming. The “Not as hot as Brad Pitt” circle does overlap with the “fat uggo” circle, but not that much, and without any other jab from her to indicate she was saying it in that sense, it’s lazy to assume that’s what it was and to upbraid people for not being appropriately

Wait, Sis? Is that you?

He seems like SUCH a self-important douche. In almost every interview I’ve read with him he comes across as insufferable. Trivial side note on his schmuck-ness: I own the Forgetting Sarah Marshall DVD and in the audio commentary Judd Apatow asked the cast not to curse bc his kids were in the booth (I’m assuming the

He agreed to be in the movie and he agreed to play the part. He signed up to simulate sodomy with an 8 foot tall demon. She did not sign up for him to say “looks like you take it up the ass, ha ha ha,” which is basically what he did.

Yes, you would. Because women are always expected to suck it up and smile. And if we hit back, we’re humorless bitches who don’t know how to take a “joke.” How does it feel, Jonah?

Her initial joke wasn’t insulting. He responded to it by getting mean and crass. He deserved a response. And her joke, about the movie star friends, would have worked for anyone, even an attractive man, who isn’t a super-hot sex symbol. It wasn’t that bad, and, after his joke, was more giving as good as she got.

He’s being a total baby. Plus he’s a total hypocrite for it! He’s always given me this vibe that he thinks very highly of himself and that he should be seriously respected for his craft. bleck.

I don’t really see how he can get offended after saying “I heard you get sodomized quite often”.

how is “I hear you get sodomized quite often” appropriate?

Sure, in the same way that a joke showing the power dynamic between blacks and whites at the expense of whites is funny, but at the expense of blacks isn’t. Making fun of the power dynamic IS the joke. Reversing the genders would remove the humor.

You mean, like jokes that are made all the time by male comedians already? Or the joke he made about this woman being sodomized all the time? No one here is “freaking out” about that, sooo...

I don’t really see how he can get offended after saying “I heard you get sodomized quite often”. I mean, her initial comment about the demon was off-color, but no more off-color than the fact he chose to be in a scene that played a rape as comedy in the first place. And her response was, if anything, a de-escalation

I don’t think we can call this the greatest RHONY season. Scary Island was legend.

Forgot one of my favourite bits about the whole reunion:
