This is not exactly right. They canceled a pre-game performance during the 2014 season (the week the Ray Rice video came out) and tried to reschedule it for the following week. Rihanna said F U NFL but was still in talks to do the Super Bowl last year (2015). Word is it came down to her and Coldplay.
