Thanks for saying what I wanted to say, but so much better than I did!

I remember watching Gilmore Girls, Melissa McCarthy was Lauren Graham's best friend on the show and she was able to be funny and play a crazy character and not once was her weight ever involved. The same goes for two other frequent recurring characters played by Sally Struthers and Liz Torres, both heavy but the

So disappointing. I'd love to see a show starring a heavier actress and have the plot/comedy not revolve around her weight.

This happens with Melissa McCarthy too and it never fails to annoy me. What a waste of two talented comediennes. Rule of thumb: any time a person's identity is the joke and there's no substance to the humor beyond pointing out the obvious fact that they're fat/gay/black/Asian/whatever, it's not comedy. It's minstrelry.

THX 4 THE CATCH! I think writing "sexist" is ingrained in my muscle memory. I also always write "genderal" instead of "general"

ok, i know that i don't need to ~rise to the occasion and come to jezebel's defense~ but WHOLE PASSAGES WERE TAKEN. not randomly re-arranged sentences that could easily be misconstrued. melissa gorga clearly advocated horrendous things and any attempt at saying they were taken out of context is just idiotic

Ugh, grape culture. Amirite?

COOL JOKE, BRO.

Wait, I thought it was women who lie about rape...

Sorry, but this is way too specific and the tone is way too on point for me to buy this as a hoax.

I SHUT THE BEDROOM WINDOW BUT NOW THE RACCOONS ARE UNDER THE BED!

Forget Zac (although I wish him and his beautiful face well).

These two idiots were on "Bethenny" this morning, and I was half-assedly listening while in the kitchen. (I'm in grad school - this was the first time I've ever caught an episode!)

Any reason to quit smoking is a good reason to quit smoking.

I am earnestly applying for jobs and I look forward to a career in public service.

I'm sorry, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you and the author are both suffering from the same issue with regards to privilege.

First rule of having privilege. Do not complain about having privilege.

It's things like this that make me wonder what Mike Leach's own dead hooker count is. Alleged hooker count, of course.
