I worked a clinic in NJ and can confirm this as well. My neighbor was planning on marching on Washington and the person helping her organize the bus had been one of my patients two weeks earlier. The woman bout pooped herself when she saw me and thought I might rat her out (I didn’t).

The message here is to teach kids about sex, contraception, and how you get pregnant. Abstinence doesn’t work.

My favorite part of this is the rule is “Don’t have sex”, not “Don’t carry a pregnancy to term.” She’s the ONLY one being “disciplined” but I guarantee you she isn’t the only one who broke that rule. I can understand somewhat if there was a crime committed, especially against another student. But in this case, yeah straight BS.

This story enrages me on multiple levels and the hypocrisy is pretty breathtaking. But WTF is up with that messed up pledge? How the hell can you “discipline” a child for something that wasn’t actually DONE AT SCHOOL. This school sounds like Betsy Devos’ wet dream.
