Definitely. I liked Seasons 1 and 2. But Season 3 is when I started loving Veep And boring everyone I know about it. Jonah is one of the best characters on TV today. Selena went from fairly awful to just the absolute worst, and her appalling relationship with Gary is brilliant. That bathroom scene (don't think that

Started watching "You're the worst" thanks to seeing the great reviews for it on this website. And it's the best.

I really wanted to love it but didn't. I thought it was completely forgettable and very low on laughs. You could be right that it'll come to be appreciated in time.

Not much else Lee could have done with the ending of "Sense and Sensibility". It has my least favourite ending of an Austen novel. Rickman helps make it more palatable but seeing Marianne end up with Brandon leaves me a little cold.

I had the same thought about Catherine Keener the other day.
It was lovely to see her in "Enough Said" but the role wasn't great. She can do better.

Even though it's not 1994, I watched ER - for the first time. I truly don't believe I've ever seen an episode before. I can't account for this either. Anyway, following AV Club advice, I watched Love's Labor Lost and it was, as recommended, outstanding. I'll be doubling back to start the series proper now, although

1994 was all about books for me, and Captain Correlli's Mandolin is the one that stands out most in my mind. It was everywhere at the time, probably overrated (I haven't re-read it since) and we won't even mention the movie, but what I remember most was the word-of-mouth recommendation of this book which opened me up

I agree with your thoughts on Boyhood. I thought the second marriage wasn't brilliantly done, but the ending was more problematic in terms of timing. It felt like Linklater kept searching and searching for a moment profound enough to end on. And so we had scene after scene in the last year when any of them - the

This review is much better than Project Runway deserves. Great writing and perfect gif selection. More please!

Mine is Good Morning Vietnam. In 1988 I was 13 and my parents bought a VCR and so saw many, many hours spent down at the video store choosing family friendly videos. Good Morning Vietnam plus La Bamba are the two that introduced me to the idea that adult movies could be fun and interesting - and you learn about

"Oh, we own K-Mart now?"
"No. So why do you dress like we do?"

I'm feeling the pressure now!

I watched The One I Love. Oddly compelling. It's not easily described. But I enjoyed it a lot and will watch again. Elizabeth Moss and Mark Duplass are great.

I loved The Way, Way back and am a bit sad it just sort of faded away and has been forgotten already. Rockwell. Colette. And Alison Janney, who I am always happy to see (outside of a Chuck Lorre vehicle). Plus water sliding. That's pretty much everything I want in a movie right there.

JGL and Lizzy Caplan? I'm in. And I don't even like Christmas. If Seth Rogan gets busy and has to miss this one, that would be even better.

Peter! The most tolerant older brother of all time. Not many siblings could get past their little brother eating their pet turtle.

Beezus Quimby. As a child I wanted to be just like Beezus, but feared I was actually more of a Ramona.

That was glorious. This is still not a good move.

No. But I do have fleas so my internet persona is not a complete lie.

New Zealand. The films that prove the most popular at our film festivals (like Boyhood) generally come back to the art house theatres for a wider release but that will be a couple of months away.
