So many dreadful high school movies. So little time. Thanks for bringing this *gem* to my attention. I'll take it under advisement.

After enjoying Veep Season 3 so much lately I went back and re watched Season 1 and enjoyed it even more the second time. Jonah was just perfect from Day One.
Looking forward to Boyhood next weekend - no general release for it here but I got tickets as part of a film festival.
On much, much lower level I watched Easy A

I confused him with Patrick Warburton and was briefly interested in Ant-Man.

This was a good read. That said, the line-up of shows he's doing this season looks like my idea of hell.

The Cheever Letters is my very favourite episode, in which they tackle that very complex issue of dirty talk especially when you're just trying to keep up.

As someone in a different time zone I, for one, appreciate this going up when my weekend actually does end - and based on the fact that I seem alone in this, I'm going to assume it was done solely for my benefit. I'm just that self-absorbed. Thanks AV Club.

The love for this movie confuses me too. I recently rewatched it thinking I must have missed something the first time. Nope. Still not seeing it.

You might be underestimating my lack of cool there.

Flight of the Conchords - Wellington, New Zealand. I was at university with them too, but have no stories to tell.

Not much to tell! Spoof but a bit too obvious and not quite funny enough. Rudd and Poehler etc do a good job. But it felt a bit dated and like a joke that didn't quite have the legs for even the minimal 80 mins of the movie. Very forgettable and not quite as clever as I think they wanted it to be, but I like everyone

Watched They Came Together. It was fine. Not great, not hilarious but okay.

True. Less of a jump, and more of a gentle meander.

The West Wing lept forward in time twice. The season two episode where Josh recovers covered off three months by the time the episode was finished, and by the end of season 5 the Bartlett administration has somehow jumped a full year further along in office than they would have been otherwise, setting up the following

Good call. I'd modify for any Fry and Laurie collaboration.

TV - Peep Show, 30 Rock, Seinfeld
Movies -only one test needed: Office Space
Comedy - Tim Minchin, Louis CK
North and South (Armitage NOT Swayze) - miniseries but I'll also welcome with open arms fans of any of the wonderful books by Elizabeth Gaskell
Music - Gomez (I never meet anyone who passes this deal maker. I may

I know I'm going to regret engaging with this but I'm curious as a New Zealander what we did to qualify for a pass from you?

That was brutal. Reminded me of that infamous Meg Ryan interview with Parkinson in the UK.

Anyone who says Pretty Woman is their favorite romantic movie. (I judge Love Actually too, but not as much as it at least doesn't present prostitution as a great way to meet a man and be saved).
Anyone who doesn't read but loved 50 Shades of Gray or Twilight (and is over 20).

This was a great Random Roles. I think I always thought Dalton was fairly aloof and grumpy (and maybe he is) but you did a great job here putting him at ease and ending up with some brilliant anecdotes. What a career he's had.

I prefer to believe it was a typo which means I don't have to confront my own age and the fact I no longer understand what the kids are talking about.
