When I was about 14, and my sister about 11, my dad took us to Ireland for a couple of weeks over the summer. In one town, we rented out this tiny little cottage that was apparently literally 800-900 years old. It was part of what used to be this big busy manor, but now was just peacefully secluded in the farmland,

Creepy Corner is pretty much the only reason I still check that site out. Also because sometimes I love hate-reading the terrible IHTM articles, and the super pretentious comments.
xoVain though, the total opposite. I started out hating it, now I wonder how a site that cool can be affiliated from a site so stupid.

Late to the game but yuppp.

Why can’t I stop laughing?

This one’s not worse, but here it is: at our wedding, my coworker was drunk 10 minutes into the cocktail hour. Halfway through the reception, he went up to the sweetheart table, where my husband was about to pour himself some of the expensive champagne we’d had set on our table. My coworker took the bottle from in

That’s pretty funny, because as a Belgian (who are often mocked by the French for their “rough mannerisms”) who grew up in Tokyo, I found the Japanese to be far more patient and accommodating with foreigners than the French.

Ugh, thank you, so good to have that validation on both counts hahaha

This is 2 days late and in the greys, but I keep seeing stuff about Demi “hinting” at bisexuality — didn’t she come out years ago? Like, around the same time she went to rehab and got treated for manic depression? I thought she did this tell all interview or something where all this came out (no pun intended), where

It drives me so irrationally crazy when people use “myself” in this way:

My husband and I have been doing the same thing! We’re so depressed now that we actually have to wait between episodes from now on.

I know very little about epilepsy, so I could be totally wrong, but maybe OP has different “triggers” for seizures? I believe that not everyone with epilepsy is sensitive to flashing lights, etc. I think it depends from person to person, in which case he’s probably fine with video games but maybe not with other things.

I’m sorry, I know you meant well(ish) with your response, but your misunderstanding actually made me laugh out loud :D
(OP meant you can’t drive with epilepsy - has nothing to do with the flash)
I agree that it’s not much of an excuse though - OP could just get a regular ID card, rather than an driver’s license...

Thank you. So tired of this “this is your own fault because you forced him/her into monogamy” arguments. Fuck that. If you discover monogamy’s not your thing, you have a respectful discussion with your partner, and/or seek out partners who are on the same page. It doesn’t excuse or allow cheating. It’s called

YUS, Darjeeling. This is a spoiled rich girl anecdote but: when I was in high school, my dad planned a 6-week trek around India (no tour guides, just a Lonely Planet book and blind hotel reservations) for himself, my younger sister, and me. The only absolute must on the list was a trip to Darjeeling, as out of the way

I love this so much.

Oh god i had the exact same thought.

First, I just listed impulsivity as one of the things that come with an underdeveloped mind, I didn’t say whether or not that was a characteristic they shared.

*whips out psych thesis*
Actually, there are some rehabilitation models designed for juvenile violent crimes offenders that have been shown to be pretty effective in a lot of cases. The brain is literally underdeveloped until age 24, meaning that anyone up until that age experiences greater impulsiveness, reduced

I’m not sure I understand your question....

Look, I had a chemical pregnancy - had a positive test at 4 weeks, then lost it at 6 weeks. That was 2 weeks of excitement over being pregnant. I told my parents I was pregnant hours before my “miscarriage” (only in quotes because I know someone will chime in to say you can’t technically miscarry a chemical
