Holy shit, our house turns 100 in 1920, we have to throw a theme party for it!

Aww!!! This made my heart go *squeeeeee!*

Ever since I first saw news of this all I can think it “please don’t let this be a publicity stunt, please don’t let this be a publicity stunt, please don’t let this be a publicity stunt...”

AAAAHGHGHGHG!!!! It’s so much creepier when someone else confirms that shit! Have y’all tried saying something to her?

Our own eviction party! Our landlord was evicting us from the two top apartments (the only ones in the building) after we complained to the city that the heat wasn’t working in the winter and the stairs were buckling. We hadn’t paid any security deposits. People were going up on the roof and shitting down the chimney.

Awesome. Back in maybe 2007 I saw a stack of books by folks like Ann Coulter and Bill O’Reilly at my liberal grandmother’s house and I asked her why she had them. She replied that she liked to check them out of the library and then continually renewing them so no one else could read them either. Shero.

I have never watched an entire episode of this show but mere minutes ago an office administrator made some Big Bang Theory joke, then noticed that I didn’t “get it,” and asked if I watched the show. When I said no they proceeded to tell me about this uproariously funny show in excruciating detail (and in the process

I know it makes more work for the stores’ employees when they go to restock, but if it keeps more people from buying Trump merch and propaganda then maybe companies will look at their bottom line and stop commercializing fascists and their enablers.

Wow. I am definitely not sensitive. Two of the last three houses I lived in were right next to cemeteries, in the first an older person had died before we moved in and the next was built on a former plantation, and I suspect the older man who was the second owner of my house died in it, his son-in-law might have as

This reminds me, when I was at a Joann Fabrics last week getting faux fur for my Halloween costume I saw a pattern one could buy to sew a rip-off of Melania’s blue inaugural day dress. Reader, I hid each and every one behind another pattern. I do the same thing when I see tabloids with a Trump on them. It’s a petty

This has been one of the creepier stories for me, for sure. The cabinet thing gives me chills. It took posting stories in the cary story post years ago for me to realize, YEARS after the fact, that both weird hauntings I’ve experienced happened the same year, at my home in Jamaica Plain, MA and at my job in Cambridge.

That is such a terrifying description. The stories involving children and the candid way that they view the world were always creepy to me, but now that I have a 20-month old I am spoooooooked. Had you ever experienced anything unsettling about the house? Our house is almost 100 years old and there’s a good chance

Yikes. I have lived in a spooky house before, in Boston. At the time it was easy to dismiss what I (and others) saw, heard, and felt, but then I lived in New Orleans, next to Lafayette Cemetery, on property that was once a plantation, but I never experienced anything supernatural there. It made me all the more

I’m really enjoying this comment / username synergy.

I just donated, thanks for suggesting!

I sat through the supremely anti-feminist Sucker Punch just to see his fine ass, but even I have my limits.

I don’t hate her but I still need someone to explain to me why she was not only in the video for “Nice for What,” but why she was the first woman onscreen.

I am furious at Oscar Isaac for wasting his hotness on this maudlin crying porn. He’s going to have to do a lot of making out with John Boyega if he expects my forgiveness.

I’m hoping that they’re trying to force a vote to stave off her testimony, the optics of that would be bad for the GOP.

I’m just annoyed that the cruisers look very similar to the night diapers, and I somehow always nearly put the night diapers on backwards.
