I’ve only smelled it in concentrated amounts. My scientist SO made a Tesla coil in our basement, after that had been on for a few minutes the air was thick with ozone. But I’ve never smelled it outside of that scenario, even as a sensitive-nosed pregnant.

6 months pregnant, SO glad the semester is almost over because my nose can not handle the chemical smell of white board markers, and I need to write on the board constantly during my lectures. Every time I’ve had to use a port-a-let while pregnant has also been a real joy.

Not to mention that schools in Detroit are so segregated that when I put their demographic statistics on the board my students assume they’re the demographic statistics of a school from Alabama or Mississippi in the 1950s. It’s like Brown v. Board of Education never happened.
