Great story! I love articles about lost treasures like this; I never heard about this game before. Lots of creepy imagery in this game; I wonder who the target audience was? Man, I still remember being creeped out by games like Shadowgate and Uninvited as a kid. Imagine seeing this image as a 7 year old:

Doesn't count since we only had 3 channels on TV and no Internet back then.

I liked it the first time around when it was called Shields and Yarnell.

More like old school Caprisun Commercials...

What the author fails to understand is that Nacho Cheese isn't a flavor. Rather, it's a state of mind. A bright-orange-salty-delicious state of mind.

yeah, I sold my PS3 a while back with thoughts of getting a PS4. but after just playing all my games exclusively on the PC now, I see now real point in getting a PS4. Figured I would just take the $400 and buy another GPU to max out the graphics.

This is absolutely true. The actual percent of time car commercials are showing you a CGI car is around 80-90%. A big chunk of a CGI and VFX artist's work is product porn.

As a 3D and VFX artist, I don't understand the very common prejudice that people have towards CGI.

You could always use some DNS shenanigans to get around that. ;)

I've also had it take off by itself on multiple occasions when landing it on an incline. It's also fun and hilarious to kill eagles and other birds with it's propellers.

That pissed me off a bit. Game kept telling me not to kill the villagers. Not my fault if they drive past me when I'm starting the buzzer up. They should've known!

I love you Kotaku. You just described what I felt about this game from the first moment on. It seems like it is heavily targeted at the typical style less uneducated american teenager, and I despise that.

Yeah. It says "Esc" on the screen because of using F12 to get the screenshot, so the game reverts to displaying the keyboard shortcut for "Back", but I usually use a controller so I'm A-buttoning my way through menus. It's almost like they added a little unseen trap in the menus as a joke, but I haven't fallen for it
