@Novaload: I've only ever wanted the 4 door transporter, I have driven a few Beetles over the years and they really are terrible, besides Hitler stole the design! Yeah the V8, has a nice big skid plate, needed badly. I wonder if they put any weight up front or somehow addressed the imbalance?
