Well, this is just a thought, but it may be because everybody else is judging it by when he actually shot the ball, and youre judging it by a completely random screenshot that was very clearly taken moments prior to the shot? Pro tip: it usually helps to look at where his feet are when he is actually fucking shooting…

That is not the position he was in when the ball left his hand. When the ball left his hand his left foot was easily off the ground and he was standing on only his right which was clearly behind the line.
