Wagon Guy drives a Boostang

But will they make a station wagon again? I would gladly trade my Mazda CX-5 for a Mazda6 wagon. My activities call for a wagon or hatchback but I’m willing to forgo some ground clearance.

Just stop. Obviously LOTS of people can afford to spend $40K on a car, because the average selling price of a new car is $10K MORE THAN THAT, regardless of if the car market is slowing a little or not. There is NO market for cheap cars when you can just buy a much, much nicer used car for the money.

But here’s the thing with the Volvo guy: he only owned it for a few months. Even if he had a 2% interest rate on the loan, the balance wouldn’t have been that much lower.

In this case, it’s the rapid depreciation, not the interest rate, that got him.

Fuck you and your politicking after an unprecedented natural disaster.

Call me crazy but you shouldn’t NEED to be able to trace specific security leaks back to Musk to take action. Regular communication with a hostile foreign power should be enough to forfeit government contracts.

They finally reined in the gigantic diseased kidneys, only to ruin the headlights. Looks like a cheap, generic commuter car that someone glued a BMW grille onto.  They really need to just fire their entire design department and start from scratch.

Looks like a Kia.

Lived in MD for over a decade, so I know Sheetz and Wawa well. I liked them both but for different reasons, really. Perhaps it was simply the ones I went to that always seemed on point.

You give him too much credit if you think he actually understands how they work. His reliance on using that word repeatedly as the answer to everything is a clear indication that he himself has no idea how tariffs work. They will hurt consumers, but they sound good, and since most of the population also does not

We'll need the kids once we lock up and deport all the people here working their asses off.

Did I misread this, or is he really dogging on Mercedes — a German company — for doing their manufacturing in Germany?

Dear god what I wouldn’t give to see his children work on an assembly line for a couple of days 🤣

Point 1 is challenging to prove.

Easy NP. Those customizations can be removed. Getting a Z in reasonable shape for less than $10k is pretty good at this point. There are many that are cheaper, but will have miles, or paint issues, or will generally just cost a lot to make nice.

Autotrader has them between $900 for a salvage that doesn’t run, up to $29k for one that runs with 28k miles. NP, since most of the horrid additions would be easy to remove.

It’s simple it’s for fans, you are not a fan therefore it is not for you. That said Doc making a time machine out of a Delorean, which everyone knew back then was a shit car, WAS the whole joke, Marty even says as much to Doc when he’d like “You made a time machine out of a Delorean?!” line in the movie. He took a car

Hi. Gen X here. This entire article is why Boomers say Millennials are dipshits.

There are a lot of blanket answers here, but here’s a more specific one: Any 2012-2018 Ford Focus or Fiesta with the DPS6 dual-clutch transmission. It’s a shame, because they’re otherwise really good economy cars, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend an ST or a base model with a manual transmission. The used car

None of them. I would never recommend a car to a non-car person again. Shit goes wrong with the car or they just don’t like it, then it’s somehow on me.

Tesla, especially CyberTruck
