Wagon Guy drives a Boostang

In the rear seat we once found magic in the rhythmic dance of power line shadows racing across our laps. Today, that enchanting ballet is replaced by the glow of handheld zombie-screens. Yet that silent waltz of light and shadow still continues outside the window, yearning to entertain and to become delight for the

Look, Corvettes are without question boomertastic.
However this screams ghetto, not boomer.

Being in the IT consulting business, changing software is a BIG DEAL. In a past life I installed point of sale, inventory control, and accounting systems in hardware stores. Conversions from other systems were never, ever fun, and your local mom ‘n pop hardware store is a hell of a lot simpler endeavor than a new car

What ruined wagons in the US was the marketing machine that pushed SUVs into every American’s waking hours. The Hummer H2 led that marketing charge. Back in 2000 you still had a number of good options for wagons that didn’t wear the Volvo badge, but Americans were too busy being sold on how ‘cool’ SUVs were, and how

Blame the venue. These things are parked crammed onto the third floor of a parking garage that’s not very big (It’s about 350 feet long and just over 200 feet wide.) It’s awkward to get photos of the rear and impossible to get side profile pics. If you’re a real wagon fan though you can appreciate them no matter what.

Without side windows aft of the C pillars, isn’t this just a 5-door hatchback?

100%.  There was zero back track here.  I am so sick of this moron.

I don’t see a walking back or an apology or an admission that he was wrong. I see him obfuscating and trying to pretend he didn’t say the thing everyone saw and heard him say. In addition to telling advertisers to go fuck themselves, repeatedly, he also stated that advertisers NOT advertising on his platform were

Why are you even here?

I hate black wheels, but if you want one of these, this is the one you want. Post mid-life crises, most all the $$$$ stuff done already. You can’t buy and make an average one nice for this price. NP.

That might speak more about you than this website.

What a hellhole this automotive blog has become.

The chromed plastic strips on modern cars looks like crap anyways. This is not chrome:

So...also like the BMW X6!

The Cybertruck is basically the coupe SUV ie. BMW X6 of pickup trucks. You didn’t buy it for space, utility, off roading, towing, work, ergonomics etc. It is purely a styling exercise.

Looks much better, and frankly they should just make this the standard front end. And yea, as someone else mentioned, this was supposed to be an affordable car. I’ve seen exactly one in the wild since these came out. At $35-40K I’d probably be spending my time on Nissan’s configurator night after night until I broke

As a Z fan and owner, I’m going to have to completely disagree with your take here. I hate the mega mouth look and think the heritage split grille is an absolutely massive improvement. Being able to choose this grille is a fantastic option.

LOL - ditto with me and my BMW 328! wagon. She had .3 miles on her when I picked her up at BMW Welt in Munich. Literally across the street from where she was born. And we have the same birthday - production completed on my 42nd birthday, took delivery two weeks later. Broken in on the Autobahn.

Someone just needs to figure out how to get minivan doors on an SUV so we can get all this nonsense over with. Fine, give me a lifted minivan. But after having a Pacifica rental car for a week last summer I will never change my tune that the best feature of a minivan is that giant sliding door. Putting my kid in her

“Basically, a lot of buyers felt that when they were off-roading their Acadia, they’d like to be a bit more visible, and that’s where the corner lights come in.”
