To find good car culture you need to get out of the big cities and into the smaller towns. Places where people use their cars. Places not overrun with cyclists and cycling lanes. So the best city for cars? None of them. Get out into the country and even suburbia, that is where you find the good cars and good driving

Did that a few years ago, rented a little prepped Suzuki Swift from Rent4Ring.  So much fun and worth every penny.

My big bucket list is a fly to the Nürburgring and rent a car and drive the ring on a public day.

Naming it Thunderbird would have just pissed off a different set of car people.

There is a difference between buying a Congress critter and buying 1/7th of a whole branch of government of the most powerful nation on earth with a fucking R/V.

Given how corrupt Judge Thomas is, where’s the surprise? After all, we’re talking about a POS who refuses to recuse himself from court cases involving the January 6th insurrection and when you consider how his wife was directly involved in the Jan 6th riot, think how ethically deranged you have to be to not do the

The place to address those issues is in the legislature, not by having law enforcement ignoring the violations, out on

“I served 31 years, I was an Army doctor, I trained as a Navy flight surgeon, I served with the 7th Special Forces Group, I served with the 160th. I served six tours.”

They tell us that they won’t make a WRX wagon or hatchback anymore because everybody wants crossovers. Then, they stick us with just the WRX sedan and won’t make a fast(er) Forester or Crosstrek.

The solution for this, of course, is to permit these vehicles into the US market, assuming they meet the same regulatory and safety standards that apply to Japanese, Korean and German imports as well as domestically-produced American cars. If, as you say, the products turn out to be shit and the customer is indeed unfo
