I’m sure that TBoBF will be back, but I’d prefer Rodriguez to be absent. I love some of his earlier films, but I was really stunned by the lack of energy, enthusiasm and logic in the writing of this show.

Turning the latter half of the season into Mando 2.5 was the only thing that saved it, and seeing how season 3 of

they ran outta tape and cant get the ipads to stick to the dash.

I have made the same comment about manual transmissions for years.

{shudders thinking about parallels to manual transmissions}

Don’t get me wrong. I kinda love that there are idiots out there buying new cars they can’t afford. I’m just glad it’s not me. If it weren’t for them there wouldn’t be any 2-3 year old cars to scoop up for 30-50% off MSRP.

Because you can buy a brand new Corolla for the same money as a 3 year old one or a little more, and get a lower interest rate buying new vs used, which can actually give you a lower monthly payment and give you a 3 year bumper to bumper warranty on top of that.

This is all because the only value they give a car is what it is worth, neglecting the value it provides in providing transportation, maybe some smiles if it is fun to drive, or a little nicer and you enjoy getting in it every day.  This is the same concept of people with very low mileage cars vs high mileage cars.

The Orman and Ramsey’s of the world are really going towards a specific set of people though. Their rules and thoughts are based on not having people in debt and usually geared toward people with bad credit and/or large and bad debt.

Electric Vehicles must pay their fair share of infrastructure costs.

I cant remember the article, but people with lower wage jobs are more likely to live further from their jobs and less likely to work from home.  A per-mile tax will put an additional burden on the less well-off.  Something does need to be done though, it will take creativity.

I didn’t say they weren’t aware. I said a lot of them already consider it inferior, especially when you look at what they have over there.

Does it have to be motorized?

Oddly enough, when you spend the time for regular preventative maintenance/repairs, “Urgent Maintenance/Repairs” pretty much cease to exist because you’re literally addressing potential issues before they become emergencies.

Vehicle maintenance has always been my #1 priority. I’ll skimp on other things, such as a fancy phone, going to dinner, expensive clothes, etc.

I wonder how much of this is a matter of convenience/ ability to take off work or securing child care to tend to some of these things. Cause if the most that the majority of people could afford to spend on an emergency car repair (based off of the maintenance tasks that people were deferring) was $765, common sense

Before anyone starts quoting self defense and “stand your ground” laws, these examples are all straight up murder. There isn’t even a debate over it. The perpetrators are going to prison, where they belong.

My grievance is the slideshow format. Airing my grievance provides no satisfaction.

I don’t have a worst parking story. But I do have a BEST PARKING STORY EVER.

Screen replacing gauge clusters in cars. To be fair, I don’t mind a well designed digital gauge cluster that is integrated in to the design of the dash. What I have a problem with are hideous, lazy, tacked on 3 foot long screens that are just kinda added on without regard to design. For example. The upcoming Mustang,
