Me too! 100% right down to the 2014 Focus with the manual!

I had a 2014 Focus hatch with the manual transmission. It was actually a really good car. Too bad it took the same massive depreciation hit as the automatic cars.

I have a binder for each of my cars. One car goes back to when it rolled off the lot...

Then there’s this guy who built his own:

You’re right. There are always more and bigger idiots to be on the lookout for. All you can do is try to be as prepared behind the wheel as possible.

My kids drove small cars as teens and still drive them as young adults. I don’t feel they’re more likely to die in them than in any other car. In part I feel this way because I took every effort to train them how to drive properly and re-enforce that with additional training through the SCCA Street Survival program.

Hate the new digital dash.

I didn’t even bother to hit play. While I’m interested in the subject since I own a Ford, I’m not so interested I want to watch a video when an article would have worked.

The best badge is no badge at all. I’ve always stripped all of the badges off of my cars. I get that some people then think it was in an accident and they were left off when repaired, but I prefer a clean badgeless look...

I don’t have near miss stories. I have a dash cam.

Here’s a bicyclist I almost killed:

Bring back Ferguson!

In 2001, with the birth of my 3rd daughter, it became completely obvious that I could no longer continue through life with just a 2-seat sports car. My wife had an SUV, but I was daily driving a 280zx, and had no place to put 2 car seats when the need arose. Being on a Datsun kick at the time I bought a 30 year old

unfortunately yes. It used to be free on NBC...
