A long time ago I had a Grand Prix of the same era, so I have a huge soft spot for cars like this. I hope to have another one some day.

True. The point still holds though. They were looking to add drama, so I know they were asking leading questions in those interview segments to get the racers to break down and cry about some dead someone who inspired them.

After the first one I started watching the episodes and marking down what dead friend, dog, or relative each of the “sleeper car” racers was driving for. It seems that most of them were “in loving memory of...” somebody.

I talk to a lot of LEOs every day at work. Universally they all miss the Crown Vic, for it’s size, driving dynamics, and comfort. They only like the SUVs in comparison to the Taurus and Charger because the front seats are wider and accept the gun belts and body equipment better.

And make a Police Package of it, so that the public sees a bunch of them on the roads in police livery...

But when was the last time you, a serious car buyer, got excited to plop your hard-earned money down on a Fiesta, Fusion, Focus or Taurus—that did not have an ST or an RS badge?

Was he still whining about the bumps on the track?

How about a full article on this guy, with photos and actual WORDS ON A PAGE, so that we could read what he has to say on metallurgy, swords, and history, instead of a blurb and an autoplay video?
