I was a big doubter until I actually tried it. Honestly, I understand the mentality you have, but a better way to look at the business model is the game is pay as you go. You can fully enjoy a 60+ hour voice acted single player RPG on the scale of BotW without spending anything while the people with lots of disposable

*Shrug* the free characters you get are good enough, and if you play the game 15-20 minutes a day you should be able to get enough free rolls to get every other major character release, which is why I’m playing two accounts. I’ve spent probably $30 total between the two since launch, and I have basically everything I

It sucks to see all the comments saying that this is kind of a flop design wise. I really liked the Lost Kingdoms games by From Software, which hasn’t had a release since the Gamecube era. The idea of an action RPG with cards for abilities piqued my interest but not if it’s an unpolished mess.

That’s a throwback. I can’t remember the last time I read QC - I vaguely remember some underground robot fighting ring involving Faye.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought you still need to use the “mobile” controlls for that? As in, I’d have to use the mouse to simulate touching the screen, instead of having accurate M+KB controls built for PC.

It sounds so goofy on paper and looks even goofier, but watching the trailer kind of makes me wish it was coming to PC so I could give it a shot. Hard pass on mobile though.

Might’ve called that too soon, cuz the Liveletter just started and, well...

Did you even look at Alex Zedra’s Instagram? She looks like “the character” in every single post. The stylist and hair extensions used “for the character” the plaintiff is claiming is “his” are the same ones she uses for pretty much everything she does on her own. I’m not pretending that Activision isn’t a scummy

Yeah that was my thought too. It’s literally just Alex Zedra being herself. I’m not really sure that hiring the stylist she always uses and telling them “do what you usually do for her” would amount to copyright infringement either.

Streamer who will play this once and never again: I got Venti & Diluc on my first 10 pull guys, is that good?

They all got monetary bonuses too, so the raffle thing was probably more of a fun gimmick than the actual reward.

That’s...really interesting actually. I knew the lantern festival was the Chinese new year event but I didn’t realize death was a taboo subject, so if that’s how it works it makes sense Hu Tao isn’t coming out until after it’s over.

RIP everyone waiting for Hu Tao. On the one hand, it’s nice that people who want the base 5-star characters will get their chance at specific rate up banners, but if this will be a regular thing it means they’ll be stretching new character releases for a long time, assuming we alternate new and base 5-star banners.

And yet, this farewell might be too early. Based on the current pacing and leaks on upcoming content, we’ll probably be in Liyue until 1.5 at the earliest, which would be the first week of May. 1.3 will drop in 2 weeks, bringing Xiao & Hu Tao, and then it’s another 6 weeks to 1.4 which I doubt will bring Inazuma - more

Capcom continues to hemorrhage their developers. Who’s left of the old guard? Inafune and Mikami left over a decade ago, of course, but that’s 3 high profile losses in the last year.

Sentimental value, assuming it was his own personal Mii? Might be a longshot but just putting him in the game at all is sentimental already.

No. Stop. While I can accept that Rosalina might be Peach’s daughter from the future because it’s implied as much in the picture book, I get unreasonably angry every time I watch this video. You can’t just take the distance between the eyes of a video game model and point to real world genetics as proof of parentage,

I was thinking the same thing for the Robin Williams easter egg NPC. I wonder if Nintendo made the Mii or if his daughter Zelda sent it over.

I think you misunderstood LupusVerdi’s comment.

Maxamillian had been speculating about this since the original announcement, but there’s 100% a point to it - in every other cameo appearance Sephiroth has had, he’s an optional super hard boss fight. Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 being the most famous examples. Making him unlockable this way, as well as making his Classic
