FFXIV got robbed at The Game Awards this year. Soken didn’t even get a nom. Officially as bad as The Oscars.
I’ll take either, but I guess having all of the SF bosses in one game makes sense.
I wish. Championship Editions seems to be the last hurrah just like Ultra was for SFIV, and Seth makes 40 characters total as promised. Maybe we’ll see SFVI by 2021.
Fans: We want C. Viper!
No one:
Absolutely no one:
Capcom: Here’s Genderbent Seth, who is now a sexy robot waifu. Please buy all the costumes.
How long before someone does a montage of this set to “Bagraiders - Shooting Stars”?
That just seems to me to be a product of how different courts can be and trying to approach them all the same way. Divorce and Child custody in the US are civil suits and you would “sue” for custody, child support or assets like any other lawsuit. People have this notion that Americans are sue crazy but to me it just…
“I got into gambling debts with the Yakuza and was forced to liquidate my company and disappear overnight but got whacked by a Hitman into Another World and now I’m defrauding a fantasy Kingdom?!”
I don’t how it works in other countries but if you want to recoup damages you file a civil suit. Even if the company is convicted of something in a criminal trial the court doesn’t just automatically award compensation to the victims as far as I know. Criminal and civil cases are handled differently.
I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, yeah it sucks as a fan to constantly be at the whim of an author who doesn’t do consistent updates. There’s an infamous web comic adored by its fans but whose plot has only progressed 72 hours over the last 7 years it’s been running, because the author only updates once…
Lol well I mean Pepenga and Ryu often clear Kaizo levels within 15 minutes on stream and make levels that are supposed to be “Easy”, and yet I can barely make any meaningful progress on the same levels after dying for an hour straight. There are definitely “Good” Kaizo players out there, and I’m not one of them.
Considering how trash I am at Kaizo levels I’m excited to see an influx of LoZ themed puzzle rooms.
Minecraft was a sort of silly half joke, but based on the pvp modes modders have come up with it’s always been a secret wish of mine that someone out there does a “Minecraft 2" better than the lazy stuff Microsoft has released that can realize the full potential of the genre. I think a novel concept would be a game…
Something I’ve always wondered is if this kind of approach could work for other multiplayer genres, like Minecraft or a MOBA. Would that not work because it’s too resource intensive to run on multiple actors, and it only works in Fighting games because they’re 1v1?
Thankfully FFXIV designs their raids so that the hardest content is only 8 people and the larger raids are significantly easier. The highest it gets is 24-man, and outside of maybe one fight (Look at you, Thundergod Cid), there isn’t anything where coordination is miserable. If 24-man raids had the equivalent of a…
E3S and E4S are pretty brutal on healers if the party isn’t already close to BiS - I felt so bad for my SCH and WHM when we were progging and I saw the numbers flying off us in Titan Phase 3.
Been wanting to scratch that Sims itch for a while now, but we’re at that point in the game’s life cycle where there are so many expansions I missed out (haven’t played since City Living and barely touched it) that the idea of jumping back in is overwhelming. I was in the middle of trying to unlock every Career…
Don’t bug me I’m scared
It’s possible, but I’d put it at a tossup. Development plans change all the time based on performance - Marvel vs Capcom Infinite was intended to see continued support after launch and that stopped once it was clear the game was a flop. Ono made it clear years ago SFV content would last well into 2020, but the trickle…
It’s worth noting that they’re also selling an upgrade kit for $24, for people who already have the original or Arcade Edition and just want all the characters/stages/costumes in bulk. You actually don’t need Championship edition to stay current either, since the new V-Skills and balance changes are coming free to…
