The good thing about World War Z is that it only lasts two hours or so (instead of forever, as in the case of The Walking Dead).

Velcro actually comes from a Vulcan scientist who was stranded on Earth in the 1950s.

A couple of other Fastball tracks got radio play in my area (Outta My Head, You're An Ocean) but The Way is one of my favorite huge hits by a band that wasn't huge.

    "Are you Jimmy Ray?"

Fountains of Wayne being a one-hit-wonder is such a very strange thing. Virtually every song of theirs that I've heard is a single waiting to happen, although not without some variation amongst them.

I love how your Latin Kings story was suddenly taken over by your dad's glittery fedora and blue hair.

*the Hanson brothers bask in vindication*

    It's not delivery. It's Stouffers.

Live free or diode, that's what I say.

King Arthur is so hot this year.

    "Dude in distrousers"

    Nigel? Are you okay?

I don't disagree that Howard is going to go along with the producers' (writers') direction, but with someone of Howard's stature I see it less as a director being constrained/strongarmed into towing the company line, and more an esteemed professional being brought in because he has no problem with the company line.

To be fair, Alien and Terminator weren't exactly going anywhere promising.

The guy who played Willow has been inside Star Wars the whole time.

Captain Ron. No shirt, no shoes, no problem.

    He has the best mouth.

I should still be worried, and I am, but the famed Ron Howard calming effect is already setting in. I'm getting…sleeee…..

Truly a president for the Internet Age.
